I contacted Mr Waxman again about this new project....and yes I also asked him about the sword, Seagalzilla .

I still haven't got a reply from Mr Waxman, but I found out that producer Benjamin Sacks and Lauro Chartrand arrived in Bucharest yesterday. Benjamin Sack confirmed to me he is working with Keoni Waxman again. So I guess that shooting starts today in Bucharest Romania....Waiting for conformation from Mr. Waxman.

Benjamin Sacks will be staying in Bucharest for 2 months. This could mean a long shoot or that the pre-production started today and not the actual shooting. I guess it's the last one, but I will have confirmation soon.

Actually I don't think they will film for 2 months. That would be very long compared to the latest movies. But it would be good.

Ha ha...with the last one I meant the 2nd thought of the last sentence. I think it is in pre-production. Sorry for my English. it's not always that good.

Keoni Waxman contacted me yesterday and he confirmed the movie is in pre-production and starts shooting next month. The title for now is "Absolution" (without The Mercenary) and it is indeed the third and last movie about Mr. Alexander. Anyway this is what Mr. Waxman said:

The team just landed in Bucharest for prep on 'Absolution' the latest Seagal film and final of the trilogy. This one is about a team of hit men who go to Russia for a hit and end up trapped in the city due to inclement weather. As they wait out the approaching storm Steven's character stumbles upon a girl being attacked. He saves her life but in the processes has a realization that he has been fighting for the wrong things in his life - and vows to help get her out of the city. Of course - this being a Seagal movie - there turns out to be people standing in his way. Lots of bad, bad people...
We were delayed a few weeks but everything is moving forward now and quickly. We are locking cast this week and should be shooting next month. Steven is very excited about this one.
As for "A Good Man" - I'm just locking picture this month. It's super cool and Mr. Alexander is one bad ass with a Wakizashi. Cold Steel provided all of the blades for the film but the one Steven uses - "the Devil's Butcher Knife" - is his own design. Pretty damn cool. You guys are gonna love this one - very different from FOE and explains where Mr. Alexander came from...

Hooray, hooray - we have a trilogy with the same character!


So now for the wakizashi. I see that is not made in Japan, but its name Devil's Butcher Knife it could be "Akuma Togyu no tanto" - I speak no Japanese, but this sounds awesome.

DiDa, you have my eternal gratitude!

Only Voltage is now again slower than a slug. So I am expecting a trailer for end of December and a release in the next year.

Funny thing from Lauro:

Day 1 of prep, watched a few people fall asleep sitting up during the script page turn...LOL . Some of the guys were fighting jet lag so bad!

I am supposing it is an image showing the legendary Order of the Dragon, if you can varify this for true, it would be another kick-ass moment of your career.
