Russell set to shoot Van Damme's "Great Escape"
06.09.2003 - The Van Damme Comeback Express is picking up steam. According to Cineflix, Russell Carpenter has signed on as cinematographer for Jean-Claude Van Damme's planned remake of The Great Escape.
This will mark the third time Russell has worked on a Van Damme film with Lionheart and Hard Target as previous examples. His most recent work as cinematographer appears in Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle which opens in theaters on June 27th.
Mary Lambert (Pet Cemetary 1 & 2) is in talks to direct.
