See, that's why I am worried....:(
Forget the review by this jerk,
but what is it about the wigs? :(
Why won't he let them take his picture?
Why the voice dubbing?
He sings beautifully, so I just don't get it...
As far as the review, I will decide for myself
how the film is...
I know something is wrong....:(

Sensei, if you are reading, I love you...

No matter what!

What do you mean something is wrong? Physically?

Yes! I dfon't know any more than any one else, but something seems wrong. He needs to start to take care of himself.

There probably is nothing wrong. He is 53 years old, and honestly, i think its admirable he is able to do any action at all at this age. Of course he isn't going to look like Nico Toscani or Mason Storm anymore, that was 15 years ago. I dont know if he has a drinking problem, but if he does, I hope he stops. In terms of his weight, it changes a lot. He lost a lot of weight for Exit Wounds gained it back for 'Half Past Dead", lost some for "The Foreigner", kept it about the same for OFAK and Belly of the Beast, and looked good in mountain dew. Of course, im no expert, it cant be healthy to fluctuate body mass like that. Im sure hell look good for US3!

If something is wrong Seagal, dont worry, you've been through the fires before. Your a true star, never forget your fans always support you!!

Maybe something is wrong, and there are reasons for his weight changes...
I adore and respect him for way more reasons than the looks, he's got so much charm and charisma, and I can't get enough of him...
I support him, and I'll love him no matter what's wrong,
if anything...That's unconditional love...
We have no idea if he has drinking problems, and I really don't think that's a very appropriate topic on this board...

Seagal is probably fine anyway. All this drinking speculation came from a guy who doesnt even like Seagal. Its not credible. Dont worry about it.

Well, hopefully the movie is at least better than TF and OFAK. Those two are my least favorite. What is meant by voice dubbing?? You mean that his actual voice may not be used for the movie?? I didn't read much of the review because it seemed way insulting and might have given away too much. I may wait to buy this film now until after some people on this site review it. *Sigh* I was really hoping for some really good flicks from Seagal coming up. As long as they are at least as well as BOTB I'd be happy. I hate to see Sensei putting out movies that are difficult to watch. I've really liked Seagal for a long way and I don't want to see him go out in a bad way. Someone whom I've idolized and try to be more like and learn more about myself and life from...such a shame if it be so.

Yeah, I just don't know how many more movies that are like TF or OFAK I could stand seeing. Heck, I don't even own OFAK (for this I feel ever so guilty) and I've only watched TF, like, twice. Every other movie I enjoyed though. U.S. 3? I've heard this movie rumored ever since U.S. 2 came out. I thought the idea was dumped. I did really like the Casey Ryback days though. I really want (maybe even need) his last few movies to be good. Not great, I dare not beg that much, but good. If too many bad ones come out I may have an identity crisis. I'm still excited for O.O.R. though. I just may rent it or wait for reviews to tell me if it is better (more watchable) than TF or OFAK. I'd rather just buy it off the shelf though I almost cannot stand to watch TF when I have other Seagal movies that I like so much more.

Hey man, the patriot was terrible, and he bounced back. Steven's been through the fire before, he even said it, you have your ups and downs, but he has an overall good filmography. Dont worry, Into the sun might be good, and you never know, "Out of reach" might be alright.

I actually really enjoyed The Patriot a lot. As did my girlfriend who isn't all that crazy about Seagal. Terrible can only apply to TF, OFAK, and maybe, if you stretch it, Ticker.

Hmmm... I disagree. When I see Seagal, I want action. Patriot had very little. I also like a good storyline, but hey, the Patriot barely had that. Once you start making movies about white supremacist groups taking over a small town, you know youve gone hardcore- b movie action direct to video city. Think "Best of the Best 3" with martial artist Phillip Rhee. That had the exact storyline, boy was it bad. "Exit Wounds" was my kind of Seagal movie, commercial and explosive action sequences. The Patriot was for me his worst, although "The Foreigner" is the most tedious.

The point is, hes mad good films, bad films. Everyone shouldnt get upset by one reviewer! Dont let this change your excitement for the film's release. It might be good, after OFAK i was nervous, BOTB and that was pretty good.

I don't believe this moron is capable of making a knowledgeable review!!

Hold on Mama San, just because the guy gave the film a bad review, it doesn't make him a moron. I hated The Foreigner & OFAK and doubt I will ever watch either of them again. If I wrote bad reviews of those, what would you say to me? Rather than call the guy names, how about putting forward some reasoned arguments against the points he makes? Not everyone worships SS in the way that you and some others in this forum do, and we have enough respect for the man to speak out when he's made a bad film, rather than just tell him that everything he does is wonderful. Hollywood is full of "Yes" men (& women) and that is part of the reason so much sh*t gets made. If enough fans tell SS that they want him to choose better scripts, then I expect he'll sit up and listen. But if people keep saying he's made a good film when he hasn't, then he'll think everything is ok and keep churning out more of the same. I wish you could see that.

Anyway, rant over...

I enjoyed this review, it was very funny. The film sounds like it could be as bad as The Foreigner or OFAK, and unfortunately, I wouldn't be surprised if it was. I'll still be getting the DVD when it comes out, but having been given a warning that the film is crap, I'll set my expectations low and maybe enjoy it more.

Hold On Richie!

Don't you give Mama San a bad review! :D
Are you not doing the same thing the "moron"
film critic was doing? :D I do not worship
Steven Seagal, but I do adore him. My judgement
is not clouded by my adoration of him!
I have loved and enjoyed ALL of his films!
