I just saw Chuck Norris and his wife in the audience of some religious show on TV a couple of weeks ago. I don't know what it was, as I was surfing, but this inspirational/religious speaker (reverend ?) was talking to this huge crowd about the benefits and joys of marriage and family. He and his wife were holding hands the whole time and seemed quite interested. :) Then I kept flicking. :D
Yeah these preachers come on and preach fire and brimstone for sinners then go meet the mistress and the local hookers! If he was genuine fair enough, but many are not.
I once got trapped in one of them religious frenzys they whip up in a church, healing and all that. People were coming forward almost in a trance and it was very weird. I thought it was a xmas concert!
Mason i will get round to watching it.Sounds like a fitting end to the trilogy.
I was bought Kill Bill Vols 1 and 2 and Once Upon a Time In America and have them yet to see along with many others.

But it's amazing how many people fall under their spell! You can't even say it's a certain "type" of person. People from wall walks of life, of all different intellects, including very successful business people, have been known to be pulled into that frenzy. Astounding one person can have that kind of influence. But then again, look at Hitler.

Just saw I,Robot. I liked it a lot. I do love sci-fi, futuristic movies anyway, plus I think Will Smith is great. The special effects were very good, but I got a kick out of the fact that in the year 2035, with robots a part of everyday life and amazingly high speed vehicles that control themselves, he still woke up in the morning to that the same old annoying alarm clock we have now. BEEP, BEEP, BEEP :D

As I said to a friend, it's about what I expected--very entertaining. I wasn't expecting Academy Award material--just like with Steven's movies ;)--but I enoyed it. Besides, I don't usually agree with the Oscar winners anyway. :D
