Who am I

So i decided that seeing as we all come from different parts of the world and all have our own issues i thought why not change the subject and tell you all about me in as little words as possible so not to bore you .

I live just outside Gatwick Airport in a big town i work for the British Government I live in a modest 3 bed house.

Living in the uk is like living in a shoebox but its a good one dont get much violence apart from the odd nutter but its miles better than london as a kid being brought up there was mad.

It rains and rains and when the sun comes out everybody wants it to go away.

today the sky is dark and gloomy and soon i will be finishing work.

My life roles on like this but you know what it could be worse.

anyway just thought id take you away from your desks for a minute or too.

Very nice introduction, Matt! I flew into Gatwick a few years ago and was amazed at how large the surrounding population seemed to be. A friend of mine from the U.K. has said the same thing about the few violent crimes you have there, compared to the U.S. He was amazed to hear many of our hospitals and schools, even elementary schools, have metal detectors to screen for guns and knives. So, a government job, a nice 3-bedroom home, and not much violence! You're so right--indeed "it could be worse". ;) Doesn't sound too bad at all! :)

Nice to you meet you, Matt. :) Hope to see more posts from you in the future.

btw--I'm moving this to the Introduce Yourself sub-forum of the Off Topic section of the site. :)

I wish we did not have so much crime here like you. I even get plenty of snow too along with criminals. I guess if criminals run out of bullets, they could always use snow balls! :D After all I do live in the snow belt of NY. It is not that bad. We only get the snow for about five or six months depending how hard the winter is. Really nice the rest of the year. :)

Four years ago i spent a week end in london. There are so many things to visit. It's a wonderful tursistic town. Especially i liked the bobbies, the stranges cabs and also the buses with two floors.
Well tell me Gatwick is not far from London? Isn't it?
