Hi Jalu!
Hi Jalu! "Nah-Mah-Stay! Jay-yuh Gue-Rue Dahr-tuh!" -(my phonetical way of spelling how those words sound to me, in Hindi. (Don-u-wahd) - Thank you for sharing that with me. I thought that is what it looked like, but sorry for the misspelling of the word "sanskrit". That symbol has a very deep relegious meaning.
I have a scarf that has both Sanskrit and English on it, given to me by a sister from the Darta Tempel I visited, when Sri Ganapati was visiting from India. In English it says "Jaya Guru Datta - Sri Guru Datta", on the right and left sides of the scarf. In the Middle, is a dome window shape, that says " Sri Sri Sri Ganapathi Sachchidananda Swamiji Ashram, Mysore" - ("India" is at the bottom middle section of the dome window symbol).
I also have the following books: (1)"Srimad Bhagavad Gita" Transliteration & Translation by Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Swamiji, Printed by Raga Ragini Trust, Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Ashram, Datta Nagar, Mysore And printed in India - with both Sanskrit & English; (2)"Krishna: The Beautiful Legend of God (Srimad Ghagavata Purana Book X)", published by The Penguin Group Penguin Books, Ltd. of London England and authored by Edwin Bryant of Harvard University (who taught Sanskrit and Hindi, at Harvard) - in English only; (3)and I have "Srimad Bhagavatam - Sixth Canto - Part One - Prescribed Duties for Mankind" - with Original Sanskrit Text, Its Roman Transliteration, Synonyms, Translation and Elaborate Purports by A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada (Founder-Acarya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness).
I also have a Beautiful Musical CDs from India. One is called "NADA HIMALAYA" - by Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Swamiji - (that contain Sanskrit Hyms, at the end of the CD). The other musical CD I have, is called "Inner Light - Raga Sarasangi & Raga Pantuvarali" - composed by Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Swamiji. Both CDs were recorde in India. Do you have any of those Books or CDs? I also have jewelry and clothes from India. I can Say: "Hello, How are You?", "Thank You", and "God Bless you" in Hindi. That is all I can remember how to say, at this moment.
So nice to meet you, too. You will have to tell me some time, how you relate to the relegious symbol, differently. You definately have my curiosity, Now!!! I love a challenge, so maybe I can guess, if you give me time to think about it. I have so much going on right now, "Too Many Irons in the Fire" - so to speak; So if I accidentally forget about the challenge in a week from now, just send me a PM with a reminder and a "Hint". Okay? I definately want to know, though, if you can write in Sanskrit & speak in Hindi? Hope you have a Blessed Day! "Jaya Guru Datta" !
Love Your Sister, Eagle/Stacey
