Cape Girardeau Missouri

Just got back yesterday, saw many Missouri attractions!
The Missouri Wall of Fame, which is located right at the foot
of the Mighty Mississippi River.....Breathtaking! It is a mural
of famous Missourians, which include Walter Cronkite, T.S.
Eliot, too many to remember. The Trail of Tears Park was
especially moving for me, as I knew it would be ! The reunion
was a success....eating at Red Lobster and Applebee's put a
few pounds on me for sure! This coming weekend I'm off
to Oklahoma for the second part of my vacation....
I often thought about here while I was gone, glad to see it online!

Hi everyone! I am on briefly. Wednesday I leave for Boston. I have to chaperone a field trip with one of my children and her class on a whale watch and educational visits to some museums. Be back on here saturday. Will you miss me!?!

Whale watching ... have fun. I've only seen whales from the plane, not up close.

We went as a family to Maine a couple of years ago to whale watch. Some got fairly close to the boat. It was neat to see.

I just got back yesterday from a 16 day trip to western norway, it is really beautiful there this time of year. Western Norway has mountains and fjords which is a big toursit attraction. We have been camping and staying in cabins and just been taking it easy. In mid july I am off for three weeks flyfishing for seatrout, which I do every year. Then later in the year I am planning a trip to Florida. That's my plans so far.

Heavens, Kat. Don't feel bad for me. I've had enough wonderful trips to hold me for two lifetimes. But, my traveling days aren't over yet--just a wee bit delayed.

Rest up as much as you can this week so you can enjoy yourself in Oklahoma with your family!

Julie--You think right!

I was on a cruise in Alaska and someone thought they saw a whale. Everyone went running to one side of the ship. I couldn't see anything, even with binoculars. I think they just saw a wave, but no one would admit it.
