I personally hope In Hell wins, but that’s only because its both great as a movie and an action film. But certainly Steven Seagal has a better chance because two of his films are present on that list.

I haven't seen In Hell yet with Van Damme but i thought it might be a weird flick. What is it about? I rented Belly Of The Beast last night & i watched it this morning. That movie is awesome. I love to see Seagal kick ass LOL. Who was that girl who was his daughter? She's very attractive. Seagal needs to cut it out with his love scenes in his movies. His sex scene with that chinese woman in Belly Of The Beast was hilarious LOL. He ain't no lover.

I watched Hell I didn't like it. It was brutal !! The only thing you see is a prison. it was very cheap and simple.We have so many films like this !!! Seagal was critized in Half Past Dead because it was shot in a prison. (When Seagal does it is a mistake!!!!). Half Past Dead was much better from the "Hell" and Steven was much better from the Van Damme at HPD!!
Belly of the Beast really great and Steven was very good. !! Places, actions, players, effects, costumes etc.!! If Seagal wins, it is not because he has two films but they were good and he deserves !!

The Foreigner's plot was just way too elusive...

I hope BOTB takes it away, I thought it was such an exciting and enjoyable movie!

It was certainly not trash...
It's main problem was that it was released at the
same time as the Harry Potter, and Eminem films...

Ok look I don't want to start a whole argument since everyone is entitled to an opinion. Half Past Dead was not a good movie. I understand that people on this MB love Steven, but that was a terrible film. Action wise he was doubled for everything, I am not saying Van Damme did everything in In Hell but at least a third of his actions. Yes, In Hell is not a new theme and we had tons of films like that. I also know that In Hell is a dark film and not for everyone’s taste, and that’s why they prefer a lighter film(HPD). But if you compare the two actors it's obvious that one is acting, and the other is going through the emotions.

I am a fan of Steven's, but I am also down to earth and don't have to like every single film he makes.

I agree with Suzi and Lotus. I thought Half Past Dead was very good and thoroughly enjoyed it. I think I liked that a little better than The Foreigner, but not as much as Belly of the Beast.

This is really amusing to hear that someone indeed qualifies Ja Rule as a good actor. Ja Rule is not an actor, and his presence in the film does not benefit it. Because of his fame he does generate audience, but in the film itself his character was useless and annoying. I have no respect for anyone who thinks he is a good actor.
