I have to agree with JoshStern. We even don't know exactly HOW the contract between Seagal and Voltage is looking like. I am referring to the terms of work.
Another point is how far is Seagal's company of Steamroller involved in this? Since Steamroller has no means in contacting it, only rumors can be assumed. And this is - my opinion - a sad procedure. I am also wondering how an enterprise can even work with zero publicity.
I am no marketing expert, but without public relations an enterprise is about to bust. At least this was the "fact" I was taught in school, long ago.
Rumors don't help nobody, only facts. Secondary a broke-up between Waxman and Seagal is highly unlikely. Both were very respectful to each other. Their business was not like Seagal and Micheal Keusch. Keusch itself was - again my opinion - not the best director, even if his Seagal works are fun.
