A&E's hit series "Steven Seagal Lawman" is going back into production for a third season, chronicling martial arts expert and international film star Steven Seagal's extraordinary life in law enforcement, this time in Maricopa County, Arizona.
In the new season, Seagal has joined up with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office and will execute outstanding arrest warrants, respond to emergency situations, work with the narcotics unit, and much more.
"I have a lot of friends in the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, so when Sheriff Joe Arpaio invited me to join them, there wasn't a moment's hesitation," said Seagal. "Certain crimes in Arizona are on the rise and now that I live there, I want to help the Sheriff fight it the best way I know how. It's an honor to serve."
"Mr. Seagal has been on this horse before so to speak and will be an asset to this fine organization," says Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio. "We look forward to working with him. We're a little unusual here, which should make things pretty interesting."
Arizona is on the front line of narcotics trade, murders, cartels and smuggling, and Steven set up residency in Maricopa County in order to help keep the peace and protect the community. In each thirty-minute episode, fans will ride shotgun with Seagal as he and Sheriff's deputies work on open cases and respond to crimes in progress.
"Steven Seagal Lawman" premiered in December 2009 to 3.5 million total viewers, making it one of the most-watched original series launches in the network's history among all key demos.

Binh Dang serves as a Producer for Steamroller Productions. John X. Kim is the Executive Producer for ITV Studios America. Executive Producers for A&E are Robert Sharenow and Neil A. Cohen.
