I'm wearing my hospital pants again, I didn't do anything tonight or today, not feeling my best, rented a few movies and plan on staying home (excuses excuses). I'm watching Big Brother 5 in half an hour, then the movie Godsend.

I've played a pool with a master! Can you believe it? :D Good games, good fun! ... Then I needed to take the garbage out. :D

A nasty day. I've got to be more cautious.

I was doing treatments and dressings when screaming and shots started a 1/2 mile a way down the main refugee camp road. A medica aid ewho had bleached her hair was wounded and i learned the real target was a certain ugly American nurse, ME!. Scarey. My friends have been sticking to me like glue but I don't want them hurt either. Mr. Bush is certainly making Americans popular in the world.

Oh my god, Hallarian! What a horrifying experience. :( I'm so glad you're okay! I respect what you're saying about not wanting to endanger your friends, but please take what whatever steps you need to ensure your safety. Take care of yourself, Hallarian, and be careful. I'll be praying for your safe return home.

BUT, I don't want to quit while so many people need treatment. One Russian friend almost picked me up to shove me on a truck. He insists I might be shot. I'm Ok and I am being very very careful. The officials have me watched constantly by soldiers most of whom and their officer really like me. They discovered I use Crazy Glue instead of sutures and that wins hurt people over real quick.

I respect your commitment and trust your judgment, Hallarian, and realize you'll what you think best--no matter who's worrying about you! ;) :D

Crazy Glue, eh? LOL LOL I'll bet you've improvised enough things in some of your wild experiences to rewrite medical science! :D

Have you every considered writing a book, Hallarian? I think it would be utterly fascinating.

Julie I am so sorry to hear about this.:(
I know you don't want to do much explaining about this, but if you want to talk, I will be here. Well as much as I can. Sometimes talking with a friend really helps.

I have worked so many hours this week and have to work on Saturday. Just to help someone out so that she can have the weekend off. I don't mind, it's fun there and I don't get tired until I get home and sit down:D

This is the get to know you thread so is the chat still on for tonight?

Sorry you're feeling so yucky, Clement! :( There's a big gastro bug around this area, too. He'll probably say clear liquid diet for 24 hours and drink lots of fluids! Hope you feel better soon, Clement. This is NOT the way to spend your month of freedom! :D

The best part of a liquid diet is that I will loose a couple of pounds. I don't mind the stomach flu, but my doctor told me I can't go swimming for another couple of days. She hates me, lol. The best part about being sick is I don't feel bad about not going out. :D
