I just don't like JCVD. Sorry. I've seen him on several interviews and he's (in my opinion) as ASS! But I like the rest of the people in Expendables and I hope STEVEN is in the next one. I just love my Steven.:)

I think Steven will be in the next Expendables. Stallone knows that Steven is very importent to The Expendables franchise ;)

Yesterday the opening 10 minutes of US4 were shown at the Action Fest. This is what happens in the first 10 minutes:

SPOILER ALERT!!

From Van Damme website:

Alright. Saw first 10 minutes and have to say from just that footage it reminds me of a horror movie shot in 1st person perspective. You, the audience, are looking out of Adkin's character's eyes and experiencing everything. With that said, not much was show except what happens to Scott's character's wife and daughter at the hands of a group of masked intruders which the daughter eerily wakes her dad to tell him she hears "monsters" downstairs. When he goes to investigate he witnesses something brutal and the leader of the masked men kneels looking straight at you, the audience and takes the mask off and it is Luc.

I hope this is the last one. If its gonna be anything like the third one, its gonna suck.

In my opinion the thrid one was great. It had cool actionscenes and was 1 of the best dtv's of that year. It didn't feel like a dtv movie at all...

New poster + official synopsis:

UnisolReckoningDomesticPoster.JPG

The film follows surviving Unisols Luc Deveraux (Jean-Claude Van Damme) and Andrew Scott (Dolph Lundgren) who must battle anarchy and build a new order ruled by Unisols without government oversight. They are weeding out the weak and constantly testing their strongest warriors in brutal, life-and-death combat. Luc has emerged operating the Unisol Church of Eventualism, a self-help organization that takes in wayward Unisols whom the government has been secretly operating as remote-controlled sleeper agents. His mission is to liberate these Unisols from the implanted memories and the lies the government has inserted in them.

very cool. I really liked Univeral Soldier:Regeneration. I am ashamed to admit it, but I almost wish they would carry on the Under Seige franchise DTV, but with good cast, co-stars and budget. Isn't Universal Soldier 4 supposed to be in 3-D??

I think the Under Seige franchise should be left alone and not continued not even straight to DVD. I would hate for an inferior third installment to tarnish how good the first two were.

I have been in contact with director John Hyams for some time now and he mentioned that he is not happy with the way the distributors ( Magnolia and Sony) are handling the promotion of US: Day Of Reckoning. The movie is beeing promoted as a simple dtv action movie, but according to John (and some people who have already seen the movie) it's much more than that! The movie has a story to think about, som horror, science fiction and of course action. But this one is more like a Cult/Arthouse movie.

That is why John Hyams started to promote the movie himself. He made a poster that accurately reflects the tone and aesthetic of the movie. He posted this poster on Facebook. He asked everyone to send this poster to Sony and Magnolia and a lot of movie news websites.

Here is the poster:

Thanks once again for your insight Dida. I'll have to look up John Hyams on Facebook, before I remove it again.

? Strange i think it is good for him that he is prepared to vary his roles and appearance for his movies. We have yet to see Steven Seagal bald for example. :D

You know I was looking at photos from "Maximum Conviction", and I thought Seagal has a villain without hair would look so menacing. Imagine Seagal in Expendables 3 as the villain in that manner. I think the audience would love it, and for once shut people up about his hair as well.

Watched the movie on demand! Unfortunately it was the R-Rated Cut. If thats really the cut version then I cant`t wait to watch the Unrated cut! Because it was brutal as "%&%!!!! The fight between Scott and Dolph Lundgren was amazing!!
9/10!!!
