Another Steven Seagal fan

Hi guys, I'm new to here. Well, I'm from Canada (Toronto, where Exit Wounds was filmed) and attend a university.
I'm a huge seagal fan, but it's disappointing not to see him in the theatres. There's nothing like the presence of such a figure on the big screen. He may not be as young as Jet Li, but but he is a great master who deserves another chance at a great movie career. John Woo would probably be great to direct Sensei Seagal in a movie like the controversial Under Siege 3. Also there exists a sequel to Exit Wounds, and I would like to see more of Orin Boyd. I say that such a talent should not be ignored by the movie going public, but that's just me, and I guess some of you too.

thanks

Thank you all for the welcome.
I didn't know that John Westermann, that's amazing. You know what this site is the closest there is to being official site for Steven Seagal ever since the 'official' site was taken off the net for some odd reason I don't know.

Anyways, I was reading some things from the past and something interested me. It was that so called 'feud' between Steven Seagal and Bob Wall. The last I've heard was that after "The Path Beyond Thought" there was no question by any black belt in any art that Sensei Seagal is a master unlike anyone else, and cannot be compared. I was just wandering if any of you have any other information regarding that matter, because I don't like it when someone just goes off with their mouth about the great Sensei.

Hi, Yudansha, and welcome! Nice to see another Torontonian here! What part of Toronto do you live in?

I heard about that Bob Wall thing - mostly sourced from Bob Wall! I found a couple of articles from the so-called "Dirty Dozen" that were silly beyond compare.

I hope you enjoy being part of our little family here - occasionally dysfunctional, from time to time, but still a family! :D!

-TD, whose cousin (who is also her godson), she's pretty certain, worked on Exit Wounds (but she still can't track him down because that branch of the family likes to be "unlisted" in the phone book!)

Well I live in the GTA, I used to live in North York (on Marlee if you know where that is), but then moved and now I'm in Richmond Hill.

Oh yeah, i think the rumour about the "dirty dozen" scandal went that Steven Seagal said that his aikido ability was so great that he could take on any martial artist. Bob Wall if you know who he is, well he is a close friend of Chuck Norris who together founded the World Black Belt organization. Well i think mr. Seagal said that he could even take on chuck norris, to which mr. norris didn't bother to reply (i think because it was a bit childish of seagal) but Bob wall took it personally and ... As far as I know, out of the 12 in the dirty dozen, only Bob Wall was the one to be serious about going against steven seagal, and the other 11 were confused and didn't even know about the feud, but only that their names started to be mentioned throughout the martial arts community. that's as far as i know the origin of this one of many steven seagal's disputes.

I had a friend who lived on Marlee, so yes, I know where that is! Richmond Hill, now, eh? I've only ever seen it out of the GO Bus window on my way to clients in Newmarket and Markham (out of the Finch Station terminal).

I hope you'll like visiting here with the rest of us fans.

Welcome Yudansha. I heard Wall is washed up and was out for publicity. He'd have ran if Seagal took him up on it! Still, our Steven does seem to collect enemies like i do films.

"Chuck Norris is a great Martial Artist!
I have the upmost respect for him!"

Those are not my words, they are Steven Seagal's words.
Bob Wall is a senile old man who needs not only to retire
his body but his mouth as well!

God bless,
Mama san
