Australia Day....(26/1/06).....

I cant beleive its that time of the year already ....I dont know what other aussies are doing that are here but iam going to an concert/bbq...

Iam taking along some LAMB of course thats the tradition...who ever eats my lamb will get pretty pissed because by the time its eaten it would have been marinating for 24 hours...it will give an kick alright.....

Its going to be 39degrees C..Bloody beauty mate!!!!

Just thought i would mention an aussies special day..

I do eat red meat often and don't apologise for it either. 4 million people and 43 million sheep in NZ - would get overrun if we didn't eat them. Like my beef too. Mind you, I also like vegetables, but couldn't live on them.
Some people think spiders are cute - I step on them regularly before running away LOLOL!!!

Iam more of chicken/fish girl but certain times of the month iam sure Pandora knows what i mean there i love abit of red meat..the rarer the better...iam more of an west end draught drinker Pandora gotta drink my south aussie beer...only in moderation of course...love my fruit and vegetable and we grow them best in south aussie...man you should see the size of the grapes ..I have an pet spider she crawls on my arms and that i have no fear at all..She is an "Huntsman"...now i have heard that kiwis love there sheep now i know...heres an joke Pandora my neice told me the other day what do you get when you cross an sheep with an kangaroo?..An woolly jumper...i thought it was funny ...

Bless you Heather - that has to be the oldest joke in the whole of Oceania LOLOLOLOL!!!!! Hey, I don't drink - had a mild stroke about 4 years ago and recovered almost fully but can't drink alcohol as I just lose my balance and pass out after even a mouthful (sigh). It's 35deg C here at 7.30pm and I could do with a cold beer.....

Thats dinkum mate...I grew up next to an aborigine family one experience i will never forget ..These grubs taste alot like prawns..Have you heard of "Damper" Pandora?..its an bread and is beautiful with an smidgeon of butter and vegemite and an nice cup of billy tea...nothing like it girl..

Yummy - I remember that well. We don't do much of that these days - just us older folks know how to make that. Smidgeon of butter - lots of it. I use vegemite every day as it has the B vitamins and good for women. We always make billy tea when having a day at the beach. A circle of rocks around the fire. Somehow it tastes better.

We are having a heat wave - 38celsius in the shade and I went to an outdoor wedding. Luckily there were lots of big shade trees to sit under LOLOL!!
Didn't cool down until about 10pm so a bit sleepy this morning. Being a Sunday the shop is open only 11am to 2pm and I have heaps of paperwork to be done. Oh well, that's summer for you.

I know what you mean girl it didnt cool down at my place till after midnight ..So i watched an couple of movies on the box..one was called "Deep Rising" that got my heart pumping very scary and lots of action...and the other one was called "The Mangler" not to bad as per usual Robert Englund was his normal bad self...i didnt get to sleep till about 4am this morning and i was up again by 9am ..today is abit cooler..
