He is listed on the Facebook page so I asked about it and here is what they had to say:

Any info on a role featuring Seagal? It was posted on IMDB today.

It seems it wrapped a while ago, perhaps they need more scenes or more exposure and got Seagal. Something is up as the didnt give me a simple yes or no answer.

I think its strange we havent heard anything about Seagal being in this movie untill now. I hope he will have a decent part with some action and not just some *man crossing the street* part.

I think it will be a cameo(maybe 1-2 scenes)

its a low budget film(1M) with a inexperianced crew/director

that said the cast is pretty good

It would be a waste if he was only in for a few dialouges and no fighting, the directors gotta be smarter than that. Lets hope for some fightscenes. Maby he plays a henchmen or something and is only in for a few fightscenes like Chuck Norris's action scenes in EX 2.

I agree with you there I'm a big fan of George Eads from CSI, plus Vinnie Jones is always good be nice to seem him actually fight Seagal, which was supposed to happen in Submerged.

Now we know it's a poker phrase that does make this film sound more interesting. Maybe Seagal will be playing a character similar to the one Stallone did in Shade (2003) another film about poker.

Now we know that, it doesn't make it sound like 'an load of bollocks' now does it ORANGATUANG?!

Either he's not in it (and it might have been a rumor all along) or he has a very small cameo. I saw a fightscene clip which looked like something from an MMA cage, mabe Seagal is an MMA trainer in the movie, just a guess. I didn't expect to see him in the trailer since it seems like he has a very small part, so I'm actualy not surprised.

I've said all along that I think Seagal's role in this will be a small cameo like in Clementine for example. Like you say Mason there was an MMA scene and given that is Seagal's latest interest it seems pretty likely that will be the scene he features in. It's a shame as it seems like, as with Submerged, its another wasted opportunity for a potentially great fight scene with Vinnie Jones. Interesting that his role in this is bigger than Seagal's though.
