I would consider that they might be true because of the evidence that I have seen so far. There have been rumors concerning Seagal's conduct with women back from when he first began his film career. We know his history with his wives. We know the rumors and allegations from film directors and producers as to why he is often late onto film sets. Fair enough this girl may well be a manipulator of men but the story to me sounds too unbelievable to made up.

Call it blind discernment on my part, but there's a reason why alot of folks in Hollywood dislike Steven Seagal, and that maybe the reason for these unsubstantiated slanderings throughout Steven Seagal's film presence and his career in films. I too haven't figured it out yet?

I am willing to admit that I maybe wrong in my threads/postings down through the years concerning the defenses of anyone in Hollywood

And I don't judge nor condemn Mr. Steven Seagal. I have always said that he deserves to be considered innocent until proven guilty. And yes there have been many 'unsubstantiated slanderings' about him and I think that is the whole point. No smoke without fire.

I agree with charles. Although I am a big Seagal fan that doesn't get way from the fact that the way he conducts himself off screen is like a slimebag. Doesn't stop me watching his films though. Perhaps some people on here would benefit from taking similar views, rather than just following Seagal blindly like a sheep no matter what he does. Like you say this whole sorry mess will be worked out sooner or later and I know who my money is on.

Well I don't think that anyone who alleges that they have been sexually assaulted deserves to have their claims dismissed as 'useless'. What happens if she was proved right? Surely the fact that more people have come forward with similar allegations makes this all the more likely that Seagal has committed some sort of impropriety. I have no problem with the fact that the original victim and others are out for money. If they feel that money would better help them rebuild their shattered lives then why not? Seagal and his production company certainly has enough money for the payouts, we as his fans have after all been bankrolling him, even when the quality of his films is poor. And after all, if he is found guilty, and I'm in no way saying that he will be, then a few payouts will be better for him anyway, so he can get back to work as soon as possible. As for Kayden Nguyen, well perhaps she didn't go to the police in New Orleans because she knew that Seagal was a reserve deputy chief, with many years and many friends on the force.

BUT In my opinion this all can be only a big attempt to destroy Seagal and get a lot of money into own pockets. There has not been any real evidence (audio, video, some photos or a witness etc.), so that I really do not think, that Seagal did this sexual assault. Nguyen's claims mean nothing at the court, she has to bring something more if she wants to succeed at the court. .....

I also think that fan support is turning away from Seagal now that more women have come forward. I think if someone had wanted to try and destroy Seagal they would have done it much earlier when he was at the height of his fame, and now faded and jaded as he is now. After all there were incidents and rumors surrounding Seagal that started back at the very start of his movie career. Besides, why make up a story that is so full of outlandish details. As detailed in the court documents (which some of us have read in full, and others clearly haven't) Kayden Nguyen is willing to give details to help prove her case. And her or any other persons claims of sexual harassment will always mean something in court.

But the problem is that some fans, like those of Chris Brown (who assaulted a woman) are willing to ignore that their 'hero' could be at a fault. Maybe he did commit those crimes, maybe he didn't. But what gives you the right to judge a woman who hasn't been charged with anything yet?!

As far as i can see, both parties are liable for what they're been accused of, but shouldn't be judged until the truth comes out. The problem is that Seagal has been accused of this before and while this woman may be a entrapment for men, she doesn't deserve the name calling. Plus the more women that join her and have proof (if they do) that Seagal did these things, the more fans he's gonna lose.
