I hate to say this but this new thing Seagal is doing in the border against hardworking spanish people that cross the border just to come work in the USA its total BULLSHIT! . Its is disgusting that he helps Arpaio, he is an asshole that has no respect for human beings, and seagal helping him only shows he is an asshole too!!!....Steven: you used to be my favorite movie star, now I have no respect for you....
Yes and no. First, Sheriff Joe is just doing a damn hard job. If you were the Sheriff of the largest county in a border state (Arizona), and you find that most of your resources are spent dealing with crime that is flowing over the border (ie. drugs, kidnappings, etc.) then you'd take a hard line too. Trust me - I live in Arizona, and I rent lower income property. If you saw the types of things I see on a daily basis, you'd appreciate Sheriff Joe a bit more.

However that said, to break one country's laws willingly and cross into their sovereign territory requires one hell of a lot of guts, particularly with the high fatality rate of border crossings in the Arizona desert. To do it, however, and think that it excuses the action on some humanitarian grounds is misguided. I came to this country legally, spent a ton of money with immigration attorneys and now I'm a dual citizen. I didn't jump some border to do it. I brought skills here and I pay a damn high share of the taxes that pay for the very same border guards you are disrespecting. You can't be in the USA illegally and have the audacity to criticize its laws - the very laws that an illegal has broken.

When I first came here, I wondered why I wasn't expected to carry my immigration papers with me everywhere I went. I mean that's how it is in every other country on this planet. Try to do this in Europe, or Middle East, or Africa. You'd find out the hard way what its like to be thrown in prison for not carrying appropriate ID. So why is the USA different?

I believe that the USA does need a temporary worker program for farm laborers, etc. As long as those laborers are responsible to pay tax in the USA for what they earn. I mean we ship our manufacturing to China without concern, so outsourcing isn't a problem. Insourcing should be fine too. But the risk is that 90% of all temp workers are going to come in easily and then overstay their VISAs. So then you have a worse problem on your hands.

The laws are what they are, and those that enforce them need to be respected for putting their lives on the line to do it. If you have an issue, take it up with your local congressman or senator. But leave Sheriffs and law enforcement officers out of it. They are just doing their job.

I agree...I live in a "safe haven" state for illegals...and the state os on the verge of bankruptcy trying to keep afloat...but with so much take take take....it's not possible.

And, k0d3g3ar, the FIRST THING our new Governor did in his term was get rid of the E-Verify employment system....that would have helped to ensure that companies weren't hiring illegals to exploit their labor......

It's a damn shame

Carlos if you feel that way why are you here? i know we all have an gripe with Steven some times ..as for Steven being an ass hole you are one for saying it because when you weigh up all the good steven has done and is doing it will always come out on top..

I do believe that the US needs to revamp it's position on illegal immagration. I know that they needs jobs, but with so many people out of work in the US, who are legal to work here I think that they to need to follow the law. Illegals don't pay taxes, they are paid under the table. This is a violation of the tax laws. If I pay taxes, and can be penalized for breaking the law, then so should they. They want to enjoy the freedom of living in this country then they should pay the same taxes that we do. As for Lawman. I think it's cursed....

Every other country? ever heard of the UK? Ain't got no immigration papers. In fact, we pretty much take in anyone who wants to come. I don't agree with closed borders.

LOL :D Ahh continued 'publicity stunts' are always an added feature to the media's assault on Chief Steven Seagal. Makes me wonder if there's more to come in the next arrest? LOL

I agree with u girl. It may have been a little over the top with the tank but it was cool. He should be commended for his loyalty to the job instead of all of this shit going on. He didn't have all this crrap to deal with before everyone knew he was a cop.

Llovera had been busted for cockfighting before. The police had all the probable cause they needed to believe, since he was keeping so many roosters again, that he was indeed involved in illegal activity once again.

I have chickens and the only things that roosters are good for is: meat, waking the whole neighborhood up all day, and babies. He was definately either training them to fight for some one else, selling them to others who do fight roosters, or fighting them himself. There is no other explanation.
And if you have more than one in a group. You have to be careful because they will fight each other.

What are you looking at?
If you like Lawman.....I thought season 2 was a bit better, had a more 'grittier' feel to it...only had 8 episodes tho'.
We had Lawman 1 & 2 here in US....but no True Justice episodes(no US stations would take it).
The DVDs of True Justice I find are confusing and are totally marketed wrong.
Watching it as a TV series, episode by episode makes better viewing as the character all have developing scenarios...watching the DVDs makes you wonder why the heck is the 'person' with this 'problem' in a movie....they don't stand up as a single DVD movie for viewing.
You have to watch the episodes in order to get a handle on what's developing in the background.....heck...I see some of the True Justice collections of Season 1 don't even have the last episode included(Payback ep. 13...which has to one of the better, if not the best episode)....so when you put in DVD 1 of Season 2....you're wondering who the heck is this 'bad guy'?
Why are they wasting so much time in flashbacks to an episode not seen?
The when the DVD ends...you asking yourself...yeah...but what about?
Marketing a TV series in stand alone episodes has to be the worst idea ever to come about...
Season collection is OK...because you get the 'whole' picture...instead of a bunch of "why?" "who?"...and "what the heck?'s"...
I mean some of the situations are linked all the way back to the 1st episode of season 1.
---------------
I did see a new Lawman DVD collection....the 'uncut version'...
claims to have more footage not seen in the original DVD collection.

Hit the beat with action movie icon Steven Seagal as he cleans up the streets of New Orleans with the seasoned law-enforcers of the Jefferson Parish precinct. Additional footage is also included.

If anything is to go on by that photo of that jerk i think he is the animal and i feel sorry for any kind of animal in his care ...so glad that this case has been scrapped ..

Seagal seems drawn to these controversial sheriff types. First Harry 'every black man is a suspect' Lee and now Joe Arpaio, whose laundry list of controversies hardly needs mentioning. I'll want to give the new season a look, but I won't stick with it if Seagal spends too much time praising the man's exploits.

My contact at A&E inform me that there will be no more Seagal shows on their channel. :(

As a result i guess Lawman season 3 won't see the light of day. Not sure if there is a possibility of another network airing it, maybe someone like Reelz?

Sad though not unexpected news. Season 3 had been sitting on the shelf so long that I had figured it would probably never see the light of day. Seagal is no longer a draw even on TV plus he now has a dark cloud of controversy that seems to follow him everywhere. He's had the lawsuits, the associations with outspoken and controversial figures like the two sheriffs and that now include the Russian president plus he's involved with arming groups of civilians to protect schools which is just asking for trouble. It's all controversy that a TV network just doesn't need.

Overall a sad way for Seagal's reality TV career to end.

The good thing about the series is they don't just show the police work. They usually have a special part with him showing his marksmanship skills, helping out in the community, going out with the team for dinner, his concerts etc...
