Having saw two different trailers for "Fire Down Below", I have noticed a lot of scenes which don't appear in the finished film. One scene in particular is set at night where an orange and white colored tanker collides with a car (there is also a picture on the back of the UK VHS cover of this tanker and a guy hanging from what looks like a platform with Seagal standing above him and green toxic waste pouring on top of the guy). Also I have saw an alternative version of the petrol station scene where the place actually ignites after the lorry crashes into the pumps. These appear mostly in the UK video trailer which is seen on the rental copy of "Conspiricy Theory". The film to me always looked as if it had been hastily re-edited/reshot, possibly after dissapointing test screenings. It looks watered down and I feel does not deserve the 18 certificate rating it received in the UK (I mean there is very little bad language and also the gunfights and martial arts are quite tame, we don't even see blood during the shoot out in the mine).
Can anyone shed any light on this?
Peace
