I don't think he insulted Joe Rogan at all.

As a matter of fact, someone tried to humiliate Seagal by superimposing the "I'm an arrogant bitch" thing over him while he was talking during the video....

I used to like Joe Rogan, but he has been dogging out Steven Seagal for much too long now.

Steven knows his craft.

Way to overcompensate, Joe Rogan.

As usual they hav eit out for Steven and they DO cut and edit film to make him look bad. BUT.....WE know he's NOT! I can't stand Joe Rogan.

Joe Rogan was on "News Radio" for like 5 minutes of his life....now he is on an MMA talk show?? Pee Wee Herman can probably kiss his ass. Stevo didn't insult him, he just stated the obvious....Rogan knows squat about fighting....he just has a loud mouth.

Look at youtube. 95% of all people think that Seagal is crazy.....-and far from this world.

He´s flying to Denver to watch the very talented Jon Jones fighting against Rampage Jackson. Jones is considered for being the best MMA fighter in his weight division.

A couple of days ago he called Jones and asked whether he can visited him before the fight and give him some kind of advice etc...

Jones said that he didn´t want that because he thinks that it´s inappropriate to welcome a "stranger" to his "fighting family". He didn´t want get trouble with his couches.

Somehow I can understand the people of youtube. Seagal called the best MMA fighter to give them some advice/training and then claiming in front of the press that he helped them winning the fight.

The first one was Anderson Silva, then Lyoto Machida.

Now he tried that with Jon Jones.

It seems to me that Seagal tried to get credit in the MMA world as "the top Martial Arts Instructor". It seemed to me that he did that on purpose to get the media attention.

I wasn´t sure about that in the first place but after calling Jon Jones and asking to train him etc...- it seems inevitable to think that there´s a reason why Seagal is all doing this.....

I have forgot something....

After the fight was over Seagal said that he was more impressed with Rampage Jackson than of Jon Jones(see video).

Apparently Seagal didn´t like it that Jones refused to visit him before the fight....-otherwise his reaction would probably be different.

Ok. I don't see where he is really DOING anything other than offering people insight into his many years of studying/teaching the martial arts....I for one as a fighter would be appreciative of his offer.....

Seagal1969 is right. It's not right for Seagal to just attach himself to an established MMA fighter and then judge their performance against his experience or what he could have helped them do. Yes he is a high profile martial artist with his experience in Aikido but MMA is a different area of the field..

If he wants to establish credibility in MMA, he needs to set a foundation somewhere.. maybe he should join a gym as a coach or teach seminars.. Meet with amateur fighters and not only help them develop their own skills but also prove his credibility with MMA effective techniques (much more different than Aikido) on a larger/public scale - not just to show he knows what he's talking about, but for every day people to experience training with him and vouch for his abilities.

Once again, I'm not denying his experience with martial arts but the MMA scene has a different foundation and purpose in training and fighting than a traditional Zen martial art like Aikido does.

The negative feedback to these interviews doesn't help either..

Thats just it people 'think' steven is crazy because they are far to gutless to 'say' he is crazy because they know the result in saying that ..and as far as for Steven shouldnt be giving his advice to fighters why the hell not? he is not trying to steal there thunder (limelight) he doesnt need too he will always his fans behind him ..and the last time i looked Steven is aloud to have other interests ..so clam up:)

I didn't say he shouldn't give tips and shouldn't have other interests.. He has martial arts experience so of course he can.. I just mean that he's attaching the potential success of MMA competitors on their association with him.. MMA is a different field to traditional martial arts like Aikido.. If he wants to establish himself in the MMA industry and go "on record" like he has in these interviews, then he needs to get more involved hands on, teaching public seminars or coaching on a general/public scale, not just associating himself with established MMA fighters.

I hope my post does not seem critical, this is just my opinion. He can do whatever he wants. I just think this would be a more reasonable way to develop his interest in the MMA field.

Thanks for reading.
