Well, personally I supported what the US did in Iraq. Saddam and his sons and his regime was the closest thing any of us have seen to Hitler and his regime..If i heard it right- a lot of people defended him and denied a lot of what he did..(Hitler, that is).
Saddam was a terrorist and a supporter of terrorists and his sons were as evil as they come. There are many thousands of graves of those that support that view. Sooner or later(if he did'nt have it already) he would have gotten nuclear capability and what would the US have done then. They had big mouths before that and what they had and still have somewhere is more than enough reason to take down this evil regime before thousands more innocent lives were lost. All of the weapons of mass destruction that they had and was independently verified back in 1998 before the weapons inspectors were escorted out of Iraq was bad enough and I dont think anyone with common sense would say that he just destroyed all of those weapons and stopped making anymore after he was not being watched anymore..
What the US did and is still involved in doing was avoidable but Saddam chose another path and the US cannot just pullout now and let this killer back in charge..
What should the US have done-negotiate with this evil dictator and his sons who violated countless UN resolutions and laughed in the face of the international community..Can you imaging the US or England violating 17 or whatever it was, resolutions the way the Saddam did. The US definately dont need another president that just sits back and lets these terrorist groups flourish the way they did under Clinton. Bush may not be the smartest man in the world but at least he has common sense and like the saying goes-"Common sense ai'nt all that common anymore"..
Bottom line the US did what they had to do-what choice were they given.?
