This thread was created for fun...not be acting like he belongs to anyone. Would you like it if I tell you have no self-respect?

That far Jalu's "views" about respect of others has not impressed me much, but I am quite sure it would contribute to mutual comprehension if you'd tell what it is exactly, in this thread, that you interpret as absence of self-respect and lack of respect towards Mr. Seagal.

Lotussan, I can't figure out what's going on with this message, but let me reiterate something I've said before, and this isn't just for you, but for everyone posting on this thread.

This thread is for the ladies (and any gentlemen if they are so inclined) to express their undying love for Steven Seagal. NO ONE is allowed to take shots at anyone else for anything that they say. This is supposed to be an unmoderated thread, but I am keeping an eye on things here (I've been off-line for a couple of days, or I would have caught this sooner) and I will say this as many times as I need to - DO NOT take issue with someone else's expressions of love. If things get out of hand, or go too far over the top, I WILL start deleting or editing posts. And if things get really nasty, temporary bans will be handed out as well.

Sorry to come across as such a heavy, but this thread is for having a bit of fantasy fun. Expressions of love for Steven Seagal is not the personal privilege of just one person, and it's up to me, as moderator, to decide if something is disrespectful, not any one of you.

If you wish to report a post, report it - but making comments like these only fuels the fire, and makes you as much a participant in escalating hostilities as anyone you engage with.

I'm keeping a closer eye on this thread and any more of this rubbish from either one of you (or anyone else who feels obligated to join in taking pot-shots) will result in consequences.

As to my "not having been here long", it does not mean I can't read posts - everybody's - anterior to my "arrival" - and draw "inferences". Actually, I can <G>.
Moreover, I have indeed understood that this thread is a fun thing, and should jealousy show its naughty <G> little nose then maybe we should try and take it with a smile... even, or *especially* if it is not, itself, wearing a smile...
Assuming that it is also, somehow, a natural thing to express one's "upset-ness", I was suggesting that if it is worth expressing, it would also be worth explaining... but maybe that's because I personally don't understand much about jealousy...? ;-)))
And you may not see it, but there is actually a (gentle!) smile on my face while I'm typing this....

Kathy: Don't be sorry, I know I don't always<G> express myself in English as clearly as I can in French... As far as I'm concerned there was no "offence", and as long as the line doesn't go dead any misunderstanding / misinterpretation can be "corrected"... Sometimes it takes time and energy, but it's always worth it.
