Alas, when I tried installing the latest version of Real Player on my PC, it completely screwed up the operating system (Win98) and I had to uninstall it, or never work again.

So I'll never be able to hear those songs unless you make them into mp3s or something compatible with Windows Media Player.

:(

Yes, I might just risk getting Real Player again, maybe they fixed the bug that screwed my system up.

Too many formats out there, that's the problem.

If your e-mail can handle like 3-4 mbs....I'll convert and send you a copy of what you want in whatever format you prefer..........it's just that for me....with limited space to store files on-line...the Real Player format only takes about 1/8 of the size a MP3 would take...and an MP3 takes 1/10 the size of a WAV file......so I decided to go for quantity rather than quality......or I'll make a 3rd yahoo group to store just a few MP3's...they only allow 20ms per yahoo group....which is about 3-4 songs if I'm lucky or about half of a 4mt music video..lol
John
PS: The 'Girl It's Alright" is the original copy from ss.com...whauich was in Real Player foramt to begin with...tho I haven't altered in any way.....I have played around with re-mixing versions.......to bring out bass and vocals more.........just screwing around to see what I can do...but the file on-line is the original version.
Otherwise these are direct links to a few on my main site...

Nico In Japan..opening track from ATL.(opening & dojo scenes only..I faded the vietnam music...did seem to fit as an audio file )

John Crow..closing track from MFD

Don't Stand In My Way..closing track from OFJ

Under The Same Sun..closing track from ODG

Long Way Around..Sambora's version..from FDB

Love Doctor..closing track from Ticker

There Is Someone..closing track from The Foreigner(I think this is the title)

Girl It's Alright

I wouldn't bother with the new Real Player One version....too much crap......I stayed with RP8Plus......there are earliar versions of it and other programs here...maybe the more simplied versions (without all the gimmicks)would work better :

Yeah..that's Microsoft for ya'.......besides Win 95 & Win ME.......every other version they've made has had alot of incompatability problems...even some with their own software....
if you go to sites such as www.download.com......and look at some of the users opinions of software they downloaded from there.....you'll see many saying that it won't work on '98,NT & XP especially....Microsoft went so far as saying the any newer versions of their OS were always backward compatible.......which is a great selling idea........but in reality it's alot of crap......I don't care how many 'frills' and gimmicks a program has....if it doesn't do what I need......screw it.....
being up to date and current with software or even PC's is not the way to go...like it says at www.oldversion.com...'newer is not always better'......if a PC or/and software does what you need it to do..that's what counts(to me)

Of course, I want them all! But I'll start with Girl it's Alright. Yes, I can receive big files over e-mail (hooray, hi-speed!) so start sending them at your convenience (please!).

I'm staying away from Real Player for the time being, so mp3s or wavs are best (whatever's easiest for you!).

Merci beaucoup, en avance.

MP3's....WAV are way to large...if you plan on burning it to a CD your software will convert it from MP3 to WAV anyway.....I'll give it a go...speed ahs nothing to do with how large a file your e-mail will store...like yahoo will not allow any file over 1mb...unless sent directly thru the the yahoo messenger...things like that...it all depends on what our mail servers offer...

Uh....your e-mail is not posted...you'll have to send it to me at...

I've e-mailed you, now!

What I didn't say, was that with my hi-speed, I have one gb of file storage for e-mails, so size doesn't matter! (I have a bad habit of only writing down half of what I'm thinking when I'm writing responses!)
