Just to let you know that I won't be posting for a while as I am heading off to the sunnier shores of France for a week.

I'm sure most of you will be greatly relieved at the prospect of a week's worth of freedom from my rantings, so make the most of it.

Lonewolf - see you out there buddy. Looking forward to meeting you. I'll give you a call in a couple of days. We will meet for a fight to the death at the top of the Eiffel Tower.

Well well well. How's it going boys and girls? The GMan is back and refreshed! I drove for 15 hours through France and the UK all yesterday afternoon and overnight, finally arriving home at 4am. Good to see things are, er, interesting on here, as usual. Has Amos quit? Oh dear me.

Well - the bad news is that Glimmer and Lonewolf did not meet. Lonewolf's cricked(!) neck meant that I couldn't contact him for the first three days of the holiday and then there simply wasn't time to reschedule arrangements which we had both made in order for us to meet. Added to that was my reluctance to drive in a major city on the wrong side of the road. So worried was I about crashing my car into a crazed Frenchman's knackered old Renault 4 that my urine turned an interesting and rather supernatural shade of iridescent topaz. The pee of fear, I called it. I would not usually share such regrettably intimate and unsavoury details with you, but I choose to do so because when I was coming out of a service station one warm afternoon having relieved myself of an improbable volume of the rather interestingly coloured urine, I noticed an even more impressive quantity of identically tinted fluid cascading from the underside of the engine area of my car. Oh dear. The sight of an Englishman in distress is enough to gladden the heart of any French service-industry operative. It was punched air and high cinqs all round. So nobody was more surprised than me - except perhaps the crestfallen French mechanic - when I diagnosed a detatched radiator hose, replaced it, topped up the coolant and disappeared up the road in a cloud of dust.

I'm back and feeling good. So - did we ever get to the bottom of the mystery of Lollipop? By the way - Lonewolf has informed me that there is some confusion as to whether the photo I use is actually of me. At least I think he was trying to tell me that. Fear not - the GMan would not hide behind the identity of another man! The photo is indeed of me and I am as mad as a snake!
