Storm, dear, I've been in internet access blackout hell these past few days, so I'm only just reading this today (Wednesday). You know you can't get away without my fervent prayers and invocation of deity on your behalf, that all will go well, and there will be NO complications... because I said so!

Hey TD. If you said so i'm sorted! Thanks again to all. I won't go into details too much as it's not a junior doctor's site lol. But i'll say this..
It's laser surgery,or at least until he finds he can't punch through the blockage. Very specialised. Only one guy in a million people area can do it. Then it's a good old fashioned scalpel,to physically cut it.Ugh! I'll shut up in case someone has just eaten, heh.
Hopefully i'll be back by end of next week and let you know. If i can get a message to anyone to let you know i will.
I promise i'll let you know. Never realised how much folk here cared. Of course if there are no messages you can assume...
1 I ran off to Gretna Green with the ward sister
2 They decided to make me an honourary member and put me on staff!
3 I'm still there! (Heaven forbid)
4 The cable company cut me off lol.
5 That one i don't need to say.............

I kind of enjoyed the anarchy at the old place you know. It's not pc to say that but sorting trolls out can be fun. But it's still nice to know there is somewhere morons are not allowed to run free.*Storm/Michael salutes his friends here*

I'm fine thanks Kat. I can't always be around. I come when i can (no pun intended lol).
I am very fond of Irish folk music and would like to digress and put this in. Serena has heard it and agrees it's a lovely song. This is one example of 800 years of oppression of Ireland by us,i'm afraid...
Artist Lyrics: Dubliners
Song Lyrics: Four Green Fields
Album Lyrics:
[Buy " " CD]

'What did I have',
said the fine old woman.
'What did I have',
this proud old woman did say.
'I had four green fields,
each one was a jewel.
But strangers came
and tried to take them from me.
But my fine strong sons
They fought to save my jewels.
They fought and they died
And that was my grief', said she.
'Long time ago',
said the fine old woman,
'Long time ago',
this proud old woman did say.
'There was war and death,
plundering and pillage.
My children starved
by mountain, valley and stream.
And their wailing cries
They reached the very heavens.
And my four green fields
ran red with their blood', said she.
'What have I now',
said the fine old woman.
'What have I now',
this proud old woman did say.
'I have four green fields,
one of them's in bondage.
In strangers' hands,
that try to take it from me.
But my sons have sons
As brave as were their fathers.
And my four green fields
will bloom once again', said she.
And my four green fields
will bloom once again', said she.

The last one's not even up for discussion, so you can just forget it. No dark thoughts, Storm, dear, or things will go awry, and that's the last thing any of us want, particularly me.

You've got the best surgeon, who's going to do his very best to fix you up properly. We can't do without you, here; I certainly can't. So we'll be hearing from you as soon as you can get a message to us, and that is that!

These lyrics, accompanied with the simple, yet hauntingly beautiful melody, make it quite a lovely song indeed, Storm. Thanks. :)

And it's okay to be a wee bit worried, you know. ;)
If you said you weren't, I'd say you were crazy or a liar. :D
And I know you're neither. :)

Besides, you know me. ;)
I can worry enough for everyone here! :D

Thanks all again. You know the most frightening moment in my life? It wasn't the life saving ops in Jan last year as i was on Mars with morphine anyway! No,it was Sep 8th last year. My Auntie and her boyfriend called to visit the day before,Sunday. He thought he'd turned cool air on in my room but he turned it up full! The next morning i went into my adjoining bathroom and.....outer space vacuum. My breathing was bad anyway, the result of them damaging my airway with the ventilator. This was the whole point of the op and i was due in Wed. Anyway i managed to pull the emergency cord and they sat me on my bed and put a fan on me but it took 5 minutes to get my breath back. Man,you never forget that feeling you are going to asphyxiate. It's really scary. So after that how could i be scared of an op? I was glad to go in that day lol.
Kat-Whit,you liked that song so here's another marvellous one. If you knew you might never get back would you go to sea? Well these brave men did. I'm going to sea and unlike them,i'll make it back to dry land here! Thanks all....

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THE LIFEBOAT MONA
(Peggy Seeger)

Chorus:
Remember December of fifty-nine
The howling wind and driving rain
Remember the gallant men who drowned
On the lifeboat, Mona was her name

The wind did blow and the sea rose up
Beat the land with mighty waves
At Saint Andrew's Bay the light ship fought
The sea until her moorings gave

The captain signalled to the shore
"We must have help or we'll go down"
From (Broughty) Ferry at two a.m.
They sent the lifeboat Mona

Eight men formed that gallant crew
They set their boat against the main
The wind's so hard and the sea's so rough
We'll never see land or home again

Three hours went by and the Mona called
The wind blows hard and the sea runs high
In the morning on (Carnusty) Beach
The Mona and her crew did lie

Five lay drowned in the (Chalon) there
Two were washed up on the shore
Eight men died when the boat capsized
And the (eighth) is lost forever more

Remember December of fifty-nine
The howling wind and the driving rain
The men who leave the land behind
And the men who never see land again

Remember December of fifty-nine
The howling wind and the driving rain
The men who leave the land behind
And the men who never see land again

Performed by The Dubliners.
