Thats Vivica Fox (aply named hey?). She has also been in Kill Bill and Independance Day so she;s quite a big name actress. Also most definitely YOWZER!

I just watched the trailer for Second in Command.
The trailer looks OK.
Van Damme is in great shape, it shows he still cares for his projects and body.

I've also seen all those images, those of Second in Command look OK, I expect it's just going to be an average simple action movie.

But those images from the hard Corps are looking like they had a big budget. (which I know the didn't have)
And vivica looks mighty fine.

I really hope The Hard Corps is getting a theatrical release.

It;s being decided as we speak, according to the director, Sheldon Lettich. he studio execs will decide whether to release if theatrically. In which case it would be a limited release of around 600 or so screens. All depends on how good the iflm turns out and how test audiences respond to it. This isn;t being made as a straight out DTV release.

almost every day I take a quick look at Joblo.com, and I noticed that Van Damme is getting alot of attention again on these bigger movie sites.
I truly think that this guy is close to making a (little) comeback.

Shedlon confirmed today that Van Damme will be filming a new movie next month in Bulgaria called Until the Death or Till the Death. It's going to be directed by Simon Fellows (Second in Command). But the best news it that it's going to be produced by Moshe Daimant, this is the guy who produced such Van Damme movies as Time Cop, Sudden Death, The Quest, Maximum Risk and is currently producing big Hollywood movies like The Black Dahlia with Scarlett Johansson, Hilary Swank and Josh Hartnett.

The movie is a thriller and he plays a dirty cop who is hooked on heroin, everyone dislikes him. He is put into a coma and comes out of it a better person.

That sounds good so far, how the hell did he get Moshe on his newest project? I thought something happened between them, guess I'm wrong.

Nu-Image? well they did a s.hitty Van Damme film. (Derailed - anybody?) but they also made 2 of his best movies. (replicant - In Hell)
this could turn out to be pretty good, but it could also go the other way.

One thing that bothers me much is the place where they are filming this movie. Bulgaria...:smad:

i too have heard about that project but it is not listed on imdb or the official van damme site.does anyone know if bloodsport 2 is still going ahead?kumite seems to have died a death which is a shame!but on his official site it does say that a new exciting project is underway with details to follow so fingers crossed for a return to his action roots like awol and kickboxer!his acting has improved no end as shown in replicant maximum risk in hell and wake of death.if he can add more great fighting to go with the better acting roles that would be fantastic.

It seems that they got Stephen Rea to co-star in this movie. This could be a good contribution if you ask me.

They will shoot for 6 weeks in a studio in Sofia - Bulgaria, and 1 week for outdoor scenes in New Orleans.

Just because a film is being shot in Bulgaria, it does not mean it will be a low budget affair like Seagal's recent films. For example, Anthony Minghella's Cold Mountain (2003), starring Jude Law, Nicole Kidman and Renee Zellwegger was shot at the same studio where Seagal is now shooting Enemy of the Unseen (2006). Running Scared (2006), a thriller starring Paul Walker and directed by Waybe Kramer (2003's The Cooler) was set entirely in New Jersey yet the majority of the film was shot in Eastern Europe.

Having taken control of his career in a positive way, it looks like Van Damme is on the way back up. It's just a shame our hero can't get himself together?
