What is the "Right" religion?

Thing is, maybe some people are confident in their own beliefs, and so your concern that they don't know the "word of god" is just ridiculousness in their mind...I think they know of it, and have come to their own conclusions...I, for one, know of it, and got rather sick of hearing it...Sorry if that offends you...

My last post was only to help people understand where they are coming from, not a fight. Anytime I say anything it is taken as a "fight" or debate. Quite frankly I am really sick of it to the point I really feel I need a break from this site for a few days. Enjoy your vacation from me. I am sure several here will be quite relieved.

WOW!!! this is a great thread I hate I am late for this one. Although I do have one complaint. I saw someone wrote they hate to see people arguing about religion. I never saw anyone arguing on this thread just stating what they believe is true and correct. Just as some do not appreciate GOD being shoved in their face. I do not appreciate someone telling me what I believe is false and unreal. If you dont believe in what someone else believes in, and you don't want to hear about it. Then why are you here. On a post where you know there will be diffrent aspects to the whole dicussion. I personally love to hear about other's beliefs, religions and denominations. Although I am set in my ways and set in my beliefs I still love to learn of others.

If everyone knew there was one RIGHT religion then there wouldn't be so many. It's not about who practices the correct religion. It's about which religion is RIGHT for you. Which do you believe in whole heartidly? The only way to find that out is to study them all. I am personally a Christian, (Independant Baptist). To me there is no other right religion, but mine. This is because I believe whole heartidly in God and all his teachings. I know that anyone's name that isn't wrote in The Lambs Book Of Life is damned for hell. But this is my belief.. this is what I believe whole heartidly. One thing that most people fail to do is have respect for all people and their beliefs. I for one do not shove God down people's throat. I do NOT tell people " well if you don't believe in God then you are going to HELL!!!!!!" Because if the tables were turned and someone told me that if I did not worship there god then such and such would happen. I would have no consideration for that person or their beliefs. That's why it is important for all to have respect. Rather than preach, rather than judge... simply explain what your beliefs are.
So all in all.. forget about what religion is the right one for all. But what is the right one for YOU. Believe you me.. you will know it when you've found it.
I feel God. I know He is real.. can't nobody tell me He isn't and have me believe it. No one can change my mind... I am set. But I am very interested in other religions.. Just to have the knowledge of their beliefs. And I love to talk about religion.. Not to preach it. I want people to share their beliefs, and I want to share mine.

I am not in the church mentioned by the person above BUT I do not believe I am going to hell. I serve God by serving, protecting, and feeding people and sometimes risking my life to get people out,of trouble who can't help themselves almost every day.
I can't believe the creator is anything but pleased with my services or my religion.

There are some who believe we make our own hell. They also believe that each individual is responsible for their own actions and thoughts. On Judgment Day, God will question each and every one about the good and bad done throughout their lifetime/s - all one can do is try to be a good person and help the good outweigh the bad. To those who cause others to suffer, they themselves will feel what they did to those people. That is God's Compassion - to show us what we do to others so that we may understand to treat all lives as our own ... love one another. Just another aspect of "belief".
