What'd John Wayne think of the presence in movies if Johnny were alive today to view Steven Seagal's films?

I don't believe that he would think much of them. I think
The Duke would have loved Steven's earlier films but would
have been extremely dissappointed in his later films.
As for "Marker" and "Urban Justice".....guess we'll just have
to wait and see if they have been worth waiting for!
Please don't call him "Johnny"! It sounds....... so............
disrespectful. Or mayby it's just me. I still hold John with the greatest
respect and admiration, even now, some 28 years after his death.
Marion Michael Morrison we'll never forget you! He was, after all, a great
American!
God bless,

i think ol' duke would be jealous and admirous of Steven Seagal's success.
He was, after all, a great American!

As to whether Wayne would have envied Seagal....? No way. I don't wish to insult Steven but I think even he would have to honestly acknowledge that John Wayne was in a whole other league as a movie star. The only other modern star I can think of who comes anywhere Wayne as an icon is Clint Eastwood.
