I , like you, love reading things by/about the lives of those past. Especially from the 13th - 18th centeries. Ever heard of Ann of Greengables? Think U told me book read/yes but Movie seen/no. If I could choose a different life time to live, I would have choosen like that time eera of Ann's, during early 1800's on a farm...
Sorry to hear about your foot..boots must b new.. need thicker socks..Soak your feet n Hot H2O w/green tea bags, sage, & Tea Tree Oil. I did manage to salvage my "Complete Works of William Shakespeare-vol. 1", printed by Nelson Doubleday, Inc. of NY City-USA (an old book). Also, my "Roget'slIntgernational Thesaurus-3rd Ed. printed in 1962 by Thomas Y. Crowell Co of NY-USA. Dr. Peter Mark Roget became a "Fellow of the Royal Society" n 1815 & was an Ecaminer of Physiology @ the University of London and wrote various papers on physiology; including writings on Animal & Vegetable Physiology. I would certainly like to find a copy of all his works on veg. physiology since I am mostly vegetarian & love to study what herbs, foods & spices help naturally heal & maintain the bodies good health.

Yes, Tea time n the parlour & reading, would b Fun! I do remember some etiquette but surely not enough, LOL! I once had an etiquette book but I'm quite sure that is 1 my X destroyed. Speaking of books, I did get some back but so far I've added up 9 book shelves & 5 totes of books Missing. Also missing is 1 comforter bag, 2 shelves, 4 totes and 1 box of pictures missing. Even 1 pair of expensive boots, missing. @ least I did get my $200.00 pair that look like fancy horse riding boots. Many of my Children's and my things, Missing....Gone,was not there when I went w/others from my church, to retrieve what I could salvage....

Hi Sue! So good to hear from u! That is Too Funny! I can just picture that horse n my mind. It sounds very smart & inventive.... I bet it is a red 1, too, with a black main & tail!!! My dad use to have a horse that was very smart & funny to watch. His name was Bojo...red w/a black main & tail.... Do u know that the Bow of a violen is made of horse hairs & that the natural oils n human hands ruins the bows if you touch them w/your fingers.? I know because I took violen lessons for a short time, while n College n New Orleans, Louisiana.... College became a priority, so I never finished & I forgot the 2 songs I did learn...but still have my $800.00 Violen.... My soon to be "X" says my children tore it up when I was gone to work 1 day back n 2006 but I know he did it!!! It was n a place they could not reach! 1 day I will have it restrung....

new clue for the maze - in the social groups where it lists the 'discussions you can see the name/date of the last post with a small blue square and > inside it. This little gem will take you to the "Last Post" - not good enough but a shortcut anyway.

Thanks Sue - so sweet and so very kind of you. Returned last night, so I am tired again, didn't get that much sleep, but I was throwing snowballs on Wednesday night, after arriving. We didn't get snow in Ireland for many years and I can only remember twice in London ! Met up with all my cousins from Jersey, UK and Ireland. Luv Coleen xx

go to user CP and select Profile Privacy - set each box to your choice and see what happens when you are here as a guest.- if you are not on my 'friends' list you should be restricted from seeing much at all. did this as a a test to see what others can see/not see.

When I got her a bit ago there was nothing at all in Sea Gals - no option to look at posts - no discussions at all. I started the new discussion to see if it would work. I hate the display of old posts first and I changed my profile way back in the beginning to display all posts in linear mode - newest first. That is they way I have seen everything since then Except for the social groups now.

I went from mid-back to just above the shoulder. It feels weird, I'm not sure now that it was the right choice, but as you say, it will grow back.
Suzy went from being able to sit on her hair to mid-back / shoulder blade and loves it.
Not so keen on the routine thing really, but only because it involves 6:30 alarms every morning and I'm just NOT a morning person. If I could go to bed around 1 and get up around 10 like I did over the holidays I wouldn't mind so much!
