Well I meant since Seagal is considered(how some people think he is Native American or Asian is beyond me) Italian/American....it only made sense to me if you chose to work in a restaurant it would be an Italian one....

Well, I think the reason I think they might think he might be Asian is the martial arts thing plus he speaks Japanese and lived in Japan, and was practically raised there...Also his eyes might give that impression a bit...The reason they might think the Native American thing is because of the dark hair, and the ponytail, and because he went through that phase where he wore the Native jackets... And of course did a few films dealing with tribal issues...Let's face it who really knows his background? If anyone here knows for sure will they please speak up? I have heard Jewish, Irish, Italian, and it may be all of the above...Who really cares anyway? I know is he is the most unique and handsome man I have ever laid eyes on! He is gorgeous! He is Sexxxy!

That's what I see when I see the smile, though - his serious face sometimes seems to be like a closed door, almost forbidding - "Don't come in. I'm being very private right now." The smile, on the other hand, says, "Hi! come on in! It's okay!"

I think I'm going to watch Under Seige tonight... drat that Barnes & Noble, though. My last order *still* hasn't arrived (probably the guys in customs are sitting around watching them!).

By the way, I did just finish watching Under Seige this evening, and, unless I have completely lost my mind, in the scene where Strannix and Ryback confront one another in the control room, does Ryback not royally diss the president (Bush Sr.)?

I quote: (Ryback) "You and I, we're puppets in the same sick play. We serve the same master and he's a lunatic and he's ungrateful, and there's nothing we can do about it."

Which harks back to the beginning of the movie where Ryback decidedly did *not* want to meet the prez, and Krill also objects.

Then I think he would have referred to it in the plural - "them", wouldn't he? No, I think it's likely the the "ungrateful master" is probably Bush, as CinC of the armed forces, and technically boss of the CIA as well, because of Strannix' reply: "The difference between you and me is that you still have faith."

Something to think about, anyhow.
