Hello, I am a 35 year old martial arts, and maa instructor. I am a big seagal fan I am currently reading the seagalagy book by vern. I was searching and found this site. Glad to be here!!

Hi and Welcome, The Immortal Jedi! Cute name! I'm guessing from Starwars, since they use a form of martial arts, related to or similar to Akido, etc... and you are into martial arts and used the Jedi term form Starwars movies....
I just wanted to say welcome. I know you will Love it here, because in my opinion, it is the most informative "Seagal Web Sit," that is Fan based.... So Many Nice People here, from all over the world... Just Awesome! We are the "Seagal Family", here! Hope you enjoy, have fun!

immortal is from highlander, and yes jedi is from star wars. THanks for the welcome. My daughter says I drive her nut with all my talk about "steven seagal" so maybe I have found a place to talk to other people with seagalian thoughts poping up on a daily basis.

ps the jedi religion is based on shinto and shinto was used for the budo of aikido. SO great guesses!!!

Yep! You find the right outlet for your discussions, because we all share that common bond, A brotherly/sisterly Love & Respect for Mr. Seagal!!! About the Jedi being related to Akido, I wasn't guessing, I saw an educational show on it, one time. believe it or not, that was the only thing that stuck with me, from that show. Shame on me...LOL! I took takwando for a short time, when I was 18, never finished lessons but now wish I would have!!! Now, I can't... I might can still practice some things, but not much, until I find a way to get better and help my son get better.... If I ever have a chance to join a class, where an instructor can modify my training due to health problems, I would love to train again. Nice to meet you and I do hope you have a Blessed day. I Promise, You will LOVE It here. We are the "Seagal Family"!!!

Welcome all are real nice here. I took a class and my face was on the mat 50 times. I decided at 50 that I did'nt need that. I learned the catch-trap-and roll to the put down. Use of trap of arms- legs-finger to put down. This was a type of martial arts that took down rather than blocks and kicks to protect. There are a few members working on a project for Him called His Ways. Right now there is no action writer for our project. You sound like you could post some ideas for action sceans in His Movie about His Ways. There is a storyline in the works right now so just jump in and feel free to give ideas How you use His Ways in actions in Martial Arts. Who knows perhaps your action ideas may be put in.
