The biggest disspoitment was deffenetly Halloween Ressurection, I still dont see why they have to ruin it by casting Busta Rythmes:rolleyes:.

I wouldn't say that freddy vs jason was a dissapointment. It is actually better than SOME of the original insallments in both series in my opinion.

Huge 'Resident Evil' Sequel News Times Two!!
Get more on Resident Evil | Posted 06.12.05 @ 12:33 pm ]

How the hell every single website (including us) missed this is beyond me, but reported a month ago by the Hollywood Reporter is that Paul W.S. Anderson is not only prepping Resident Evil: Afterlife- but he's already begun work on the fourth flick! Principle photography for the third flick is planned for November or December. Thanks to Albert W. for sending in the link, read on for the news from back in May...

According to the Hollywood Reporter:

"Germany's Constantin Film and its genre production shingle, Paul W.S. Anderson and Jeremy Bolt's Impact Pictures, are ramping up preparations for a fourth edition of their successful zombie franchise "Resident Evil" before the third film in the series has even begun shooting.

Constantin head of production Martin Moskowicz said in Cannes that the third film, "Resident Evil: Afterlife," will shift locations to shoot in Australia, with principle photography planned for November or December.

"Resident Evil 4" will be set in Tokyo, and Impact/Constantin is looking to shoot the film in Japan. "Afterlife" will be set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun with mutant zombies. "Afterlife" will play in the Nevada desert with the Aussie outback standing in for the American wasteland. In the final reel, the action will shift to Japan, setting up the fourth edition.

Milla Jovovich is set to reprise her signature role as zombie slayer extraordinaire Alice though no formal deal has been signed yet. Paul W.S. Anderson, who together with partner Bolt will produce "Afterlife" through their Constantin-controlled shingle Impact Pictures, is finishing the script for the third edition. Anderson directed the first "Resident Evil" and penned the sequel "Resident Evil: Apocalypse."

George Romero's Brand New Zombie Trilogy!!!??

George Romero's Brand New Zombie Trilogy!!!??

Bloody Disgusting.

During an interview with Peter Grunwald and Bernie Goldmann, the producers behind Universal's upcoming Land of the Dead (review), it was revealed to Bloody-Disgusting that George A. Romero's fourth zombie film is intended to continue through to a few new sequels! Want to know more? Read on!! Land of the Dead hits theaters on June 24th...

During our reporter Oversights' interview with the producers of Land of the Dead, Peter Grunwald & Bernie Goldmann, it was revealed that this could be the beginning of a new Dead trilogy!
"The original conceit for this script was that it would start, if successful, a new cycle of George Romero Zombie films. We talked about that even before the script was written. Not in the way that years pass between Night, Dawn and Day, but in the sense that this film establishes a new set of characters, slightly different world, you can go from chapter to chapter, from Land to a new one and a new one, and taken as a whole, the new films, would be one big story. Obviously our hope is that, that will happen."

So everyone needs to get into the theaters to see this bad boy if we want more Romero! See it twice! Take your Mom!!

Check back here for full interviews in the cominc week.

If you head on over to the official website for Adam Green's Hatchet (set visit), you can read a journal entry by Victor Crowley himself- Kane Hodder! Just click on "Journals" and youre good to go. Here's a taste, "THIS IS THE BEST HORROR MOVIE I HAVE EVER BEEN INVOLVED WITH! That is the absolute truth. I hope you guys know that I wouldn't just say that for publicity either. I have never done that. The kills in Hatchet are fantastic. You know that I love to be creative with the kills." Hatchet stars Kane Hodder, Robert Englund and Tony Todd. When a group of tourists on a New Orleans haunted swamp tour find themselves stranded in the wilderness, their evening of fun and spooks turns into a horrific nightmare.

Here's the latest official word on the franchise that's been in development hell. We received word from reliable sources that Jake Wade Wall (When a Starnger Calls, The Hitcher) was in fact working on Halloween: Retribution for Dimension Films, but the project is more or less on hold until the new operation leaves Disney entirely. The reason the film was being called "Retribution" was because they didn't want to attach a number to the sequel. So once the Weinstein bros. make their dramatic exit from Disney, we should be hearing some good news (hopefully). Keep your eyes here for more.
