Sorry I missed you again. I was busy posting info. on a matter very dear to my heart, regarding abortion. Thanks for answering back. Great to hear from you so often. well, until next time... talk to you later. Love Your Sister, Eagle/Stacey
You know Stacey I agree with you completely. Animals generally are much better communicators and much more intuitive than humans generally.
Sometimes I hear people say things like "well it's just a horse, who cares" or they don't understand why I so love my cats, and I just shake my head and smile. All creatures deserve love and respect, and to be understood. If we don't understand them, that is a shortcoming on our part, not theirs.
Some people are really blessed, like my daughter with her horses. Some of us just try our best! And hope that we are understood & understanding! But I also think that animals DO sense when we are open to them, and they respond, as you say. Even animals in the wild, as you have pointed out.
It may seem silly to others but those of us who are blessed with being able to commune with nature, it is not. Animals DO understand much and can see & sense when people really do Love them and will not hurt them. They can even sense when we are hurt, upset, scared or angery.... Depending upon the mood we are in, will determine how they respond to us when we are around them! If we pay attention with keen observation skills, we can understand what animals mean with their ways of communication, when we are around them....Even Animals In The WILD!!! It is only a secret & mystery to those who choose not to understand or relate, or may have some form of communication defencies themselves, or they not meant to understand as a safety for those animals & others.... Many reasons, just to name a few....That is just from all of my own personal observations & experiences....
I know, I love Bojo's name as much as I loved him. I will have to ask my dad where he got the name, Bojo. Your daughter is very blessed to have those experiences with animals and at the same time, they are very blessed to have her as a friend. Sounds like she is a very compassionate & understanding person.... You are blessed to have her as a daughter and she is blessed to have You as a mother because it sounds like you have raised her right! Sorry I missed you again....one day.....LOL!!! Love Your Sister, Eagle/Stacey
Bojo sounds beautiful. You are right about the good relationship that my daughter has with her horse - she seems to have some kind of almost telepathic connection to horses, and they respond well to her. There are a couple of horses at her barn that are usually difficult, but who are really good for her.
And her horse loves her, and she loves him. You can really see that when they are together.
PS Tigerfeet, I forgot to tell you my dad use to raise horses and ride them in the rodeo. My favorit hores my dad had, when I was 5, was named Bojo. He was a Beautiful Dark Red Stallion with a Shiney Black Mane & Tail!!!! And he had a white dimond shape, on his nose and a little bit of a white patch on his front left ankel & shen. I Remember I use to sneak in the horse food storage shed and eat some of our horses honey-oats, right out of the bag, when I was 4. I got in trouble for it too, when my dad finally caught me....LOL! Guess that is why I love Honey Oat Wheat Bread instead of white bread, and why I love grainey cereals & cereal bars, today. I'm pretty sure that is why. Now I know why our horses were so healthy!!! PS. Tell your daughter Congradulations on riding so well, placing so well in competitions. That just means she has a good relationship with her horse and that they understand eachother. I Miss Horseback riding. I haven't been horse back riding since I was about 25 years old...eons ago; LOL!!! soon to be 15 years ago, is a Long time...
What I call "Public Swamps" are swamps that support wildlife preservation in our area. These are swamp areas that have public accomodations(like bridges to walk accross certain swamp areas) & even have some tourist site attractions with swamp guides(like swamp guides with boat rides); and it all promotes awareness to the importance of all our ecosystems and the wildlife within them, and awareness to the need to protect & preserve them.... Some areas of certain swamps (like where the Eagles nest every year, at a swamp in Slidell Louisiana) are free to the public that are supported by donations; and other areas of public swamps & services, charge fees to help provide public services & for protecting the ecosystems & wildlife within those ecosystems within and around the swamps...... I Love places like that, becuse you get to enjoy nature and help save/protect wildlife & entire ecosystems....Words without actions... is dead & meaningless.. Words mean nothing until they are acted upon, in wildlife conservation projects...If I do all I can to help protect our wildlife & natural ecosystems, in every way I possoble can(including teaching my children to love/respect/take care of our wild life), then I have done my part and my words are not in vein on this matter.... It is one thing to say something about it and quite another to actully do something about it....There are many "Public Swamps" throughout South Louisiana. Hope you have a Blessed Day. Love Your Sister, Eagle/Stacey
    Hi Stacey
This weekend, like every weekend for the last i don't know how many years, I wll be taking my daughter to the barn where she rides horses.
She was born with what I call the "horse gene" - all she has wanted to do since she was old enough to talk (and probably before!) is ride horses and spend time with them.
She rides English, and is very good. She always places in the top three, usually top two, in her competitions.
I am very proud of her!!! :) :)
Sorry, looks like I missed you so I will see you later... I just sent a long letter to someone and need to go for now, after I check a few post. Hope you have a Blessed and safe weekend!
hi, I'm here now, are you still there? Yes, I plan on taking my children to the Zoo or either to one of the Public Swamps that supports wildlife conservation, in our area. what about you and your daughter?
Oh that's ok, I can breath a sigh of relief I thought you could be revealing secrets like how to win the lottery this week! :)
WARNING - THIS IS NOT PRIVATE

I only read Michelles post at the bottom which mentioned privicy so I didn't read anything else. If there is anything private I would suggest you edit or delete it and talk with PMs.
