Hi Michelle! I am so sorry, my sister... I have two little children I home school as much as I can between chores, I read a lot, working on some new book manuscripts, and then when I am on here, I try to check out and post or answer where I can with what time I have.... It is so hard to get to all of you at one time, when I have SO MUCH to say to all of you...I could probably write each of you a book, if I had the time but then you'd run me off for being too long winded...like a hurricane...LOLOL!!!! Seriously, I really can connect with so many of you, on so many things, so I try to share my time, where and when I can.... You have at least one child with you, so I'm sure you understand what I mean when I say my Two little ones, not so little but Young, are very active and busy bees.... They require so much of my time and are my priority... It is a miracle I can even get on here at all.
I hope you do Find that Movie "A Leap of Faith"... It really is a good movie. I always cry at the end and say What a Beautiful movie. Then I pray to the LORD that he will help me show my children that same courage and determination to overcome hardships and challenges;in the same way as the Horse-(Ghost) who overcame & was rescued from neglect and starvation AND the same way as the Blind Girl-(Lindsy) who rode him in the Jumping Competitions. I know your daughter will Love and appreciate that movie.
Billy Bryson? The name sounds so familiar. If you tell me the name of some of his books, I will probably remember the title or what it is about, if you mentioned it to me. If I have time or don't forget, I will look up his name on the B&N web site, to see if they have any of his books. What countries does he write about? Has he ever wrote about Africa, China, Russia, Mongolia or Israel, Panama-South America, or South American Rein Forest? If so, then I have probably read one of his books. I too, definately want to order that Seagalogy book! I will keep checking B&N or check on Steven's Official Web Site Store. (The book stores you mentioned, I have never heard of, before).
My oldest daughter will be going to Volley Ball Camp next week for one week, then play in a lot of softball games for the summer; as well as go to a softball camp to help prepare here for a college scholarship in softball.... She is really good. Guess how tall she is now? She will be 15 July 27 and is 6'1". She grew another inch recently.... I have a feeling my other 2 children, will do the same thing - grow up TALL! That funny that you mentioned going to the beach with your daughter, because that is My oldest daughter's and mine's, Favorit Place is the Beach (Ship Island Beach, out in the Gulf of Mexico, out of Gulfport, Mississippi) AND the Beach in Destin, Flordia. She was just telling me how she wished we could go back there...Just not able to right now... Really, I wish we could visit the beach off the coast of Virginia/ not too far from Washington, DC. Maybe one day. That is so true, They grow ups SO FAST but also I find I am getting older TOO FAST...LOL! I seriously look back, and can't seem to see where all the years went to, so quickly, at times... I still can't believe I will be 40 in September!!! That is still a shock, because in my mind and heart I am still a child and teenager, in may ways and respects....
I may not can bring my children to the beach right now, but I did bring my son to Tickfaw State Park last week, and this week I am going to take my daughter to one of the local Swamps... I have to take turns bringing them to special places, because if I don't, then I don't get the one-on-one quality time and quality teaching time I NEED with each one of them.... They prefer it that way, sometimes... I know exactly what you mean. I charish the moments with each of my children, too...they do grow up too fast....But at the same time, hopeful fast-enough right-on-time to face all the challengs they have to face as teens and young adults.... I pray every day for the LORD to help me be a good mother to my children, so that they can become independant....and strong individuals; becasue I know I can't go ever single place they go in life, when they are older, and they will have to stand on their own two feet. I will Always be her for them, though, if they Need me!!! No matter how old they become, they will Always be my babies!!! My Precious babies, who's cry I recognize when the nurse was bringing them down the hall to me in my hospital room, for the first time...after they were cleaned up and tested with all the new-born test... I kind you not...a nurse would be waiting on me, after I got put in a hospital room-delivering my children...I would hear new born babies crying in the hall way, being brought to their mother...Finally I would ask, where is my baby? I want to see and hold my baby. The attending nurse would say that when my baby was cleaned up, they would be brought to me. Guess what? Right after that, I would finally hear my baby and say, That's MY BABY! That's My Baby!!! The nurse would say,how can you tell. I said I memorize how my baby's cry sound, at birth, that is my Baby, you will see... Sure enough, that was my baby, each time! Well, with 2 out of 3. My son was asleep when they brought him to me. I do believe, though, out of my 2 girls I heard coming down the hall crying after birth, my oldest girl had the strongest and loudest voice! She was very Strong, too!!!
I just heard something outside, gota go... I will finish this later...
Love Your Sister, Stacey/Eagle
