Yes I think you're right.

latinojazz;195187 said:Thank you, At last, something smart with criteria!Well and simple written: For A Seagal movie...For a horror flic...
It´so easy to say the things right...
We have to agree on our criteria because it´s the same, I´m freak out of this crazy thread of madness where everybody talks to the walls without no common sense and no listening to the others...
What it looks it´s that the desperado nonsense hate to Kill Switch from a couple of you guys, a movie that, listen to me, will gonna works great on the European TVs, Canal Plus have bought the rights for the release on cable at the same level of Transporter 3 or Taken, because for the audience the movie has all the elements they demmand of Seagal: A classic look similar to The Glimmer Man, he looks younger, very handsome and good looking, a typical plot very easy to follow, a lot of fights with bad editing or not, impresive hard sequences like the hammer one and the broken teeth of the tall black guy, a good image quality(I have watched the Blu-Ray yet and the quuality is great, you can see every detail of Seagal´s face, hair and hands, the gunfights...)I don´t understand why you dislike soo much the movie.
It´s like Flight Of Fury.Everybody in this web hated the movie, Canal + bought the rights, and the European cable premiere was pretty successful, more than Shadow Man, only bought from local TVs.
I´m not gonna bother with your comments anymore, I have seen too many movies in my life, I´ve worked and helped cinematographers in many ways and I have written a lot of movie reviews/critics for cinema magazines that I leave that to your discretion o judgment.
And today I have to watch a couple of Oscar nominated movies, and I´m so excited to watch The Wrestler and Slumdog Millionairethat I quit. You got it, I give up of this web...
I had prepared a couple of ripped ¨making of¨ never seeing in this web of Seagal movies(Into The Sun, Kill Switch, Against The Dark, a rare behind the scenes footage from Out Of Reach, as well a 1991 really interesting 21minutes interview and two unpublished songs from him two send Craig) but I quit.
I can´t stand this anymore.I always liked Seagal because is a natural born superstar, and because the guy is very interesting in the real life.
But you all, people not.I give up, I leave you alone with your nonsense club.
And I know for sure you will be satisfied and pleased with my decision.
Sorry and goodbye to everybody in this site if I bothered or annoyed somebody, but I can´t stand this thick comments from months ago anymore...
Adios, arrivederci, au revoir, adeus, auf Wiedersehen, проща́ние...And I don´t know more ****ing ways to say goodbye.

fakeshemp;195260 said:Not a great movie but enjoyable enough for a DTV horror film. Steven's role is more than a cameo as he shows up quite a bit in the last third of the film. If you think along the lines of Executive Decision, you won't be disappointed with his screen time. He doesn't get an awful lot to do apart from slaughter vampires with his sword but who cares? It's certainly a lot better than Kill Switch.
suziwong;195705 said:Was it Steven Seagal movie? I think NO !!
I agree with you Nomis..
He was like a special guest star I guess.. It was simple and primitive production too..
It could have been better.
My point is (For Steven Seagal ):5 out of 10
My point is for horror movie:1 out of 10
sorry..

JackCole;195707 said:I would have to agree Suzi. The whole synopsis was wrong. It was no vampire movie. I think it was like a mix from "I Am Legend" to "28 Days Later ".
Seagal barely played a major role and thats not a Seagal movie if he is just in small spurts. for horror yeah I give 3 out 10 but Seagal a 4 out of 10.
