The more I think about it, somethings sounds kinda fishy
to me. Anthony Anderson is a pretty smart guy, whatever
in the world would he be thinking, to raping a woman on
the grounds of a Correctional Center? I'm not saying he's
not capable of it, just something to think about.....

You're right, Kat. It's much too early to jump to conclusions one way or the other. Who knows? It could just be a publicity stunt for the movie he's currently working on. Or it could have happened. Or not happened at all. There's just no way to be certain with such early reporting just in. Meanwhile, the reputations of the woman and the man involved are always at risk, no matter what the final result.

"so much money and fame, why do they need to ... rape women?"

Res.Dog, it hasn't been proven that Anderson did what was claimed, but you have the answer right in front of you: "money" and their 15 minutes of "fame" by going after those who have "money" to spare and "fame" which would put the spotlight on the so called "victims" ... this case sort of reminds me of Koby Bryant's case (a little different, but still)...

True, Exit Wounds would have had much different success story if it was without Tom Arnold and Anthony Anderson (Anderson by the way was the third highest paid actor on the set of EW).

"Men (with money), don't close the door of the room/trailer with out getting her signature saying that she agrees to do....whatever."

LOL Jalu LOL ... ok so the conversation would go something like this: "O.K. before we do something, I'll just need your signature here, here, and here..." :D ... LOL ... why not just put video cameras with mics wherever you wanna do the "whatever" ?? :D

"I just hope none of you ever has the life-altering misfortune of thinking you can trust a man"

LOL ok serena, I won't be doing that :D

It's common sense people! Come on!
You see, there's that common stereotype of "dumb blondes" who wouldn't be smart enough to yell rape, when in fact it wasn't, just in order to get a fat paycheck out of it. So now, you've got the "smart non-blondes" ...

It's this kind of socializing that will end humanity much before Global Warming...

Kat, come on please!

You see, that's a stereotype. I won't say that it's not. You know it. I know it. I just want to make sure you get the point.

(P.S. You might be blonde, but you're not dumb. :))

Thankyou for that comment. It does not matter even if she went in there and invited them in! If she changed her mind it's a woman's right to say no,even at the last second. I would be mortified if i thought a woman had changed her mind and i continued. Just go get a cold shower!;)
I was put in that situation once myself, and did the right thing. So should he,if it's true..

Yudansha,

I wasn't the one who came up with this idea. I heard either Mike Tyson or his lawyer (after the last time he got sued for rape or sexual harrasment-can't remember that well) that in order to avoid misunderstandings famous/wealthy men should consider drawing a standard contract where it stipulates that a woman is going with the man to have a consensual sexual encounter, or do not be in private with the woman.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Anthony Anderson, the rotund comedic co-star of "Kangaroo Jack" and the original "Barbershop," made a brief court appearance Thursday to say he understands that he is accused of rape and has a lawyer.

At such initial appearances in Shelby County General Sessions Court, judges inform defendants of the charges against them and inquire about their legal representation.

The 33-year-old actor was accused by an unidentified woman of luring her into a trailer on the set of his latest movie, "Hustle & Flow," and sexually assaulting her. Also accused is Wayne Witherspoon, an assistant director.

Both Anderson and Witherspoon deny wrongdoing. They are free on $20,000 bond each.

Anderson avoided reporters Thursday by using a side door to the courtroom generally reserved for judges.

Another hearing was set Aug. 19 for lawyers to tell the court if they're ready to go forward with the case.
