Sorry i wasnt here earlier to post this email i got back but been an busy girl today ...no rest for the wicked they say any way this is how the email i got reads..:)


Hi Heather

First off, thanks for everyone's interest Maximum Conviction and on behalf of Steven thanks to all the amazing support on the site.

The film stars Steven Seagal as John Cross and Steve Austin as his partner Mike Manning who decommisioning a military prison' come up against Michael Pare as Chris Blake . during the ensuing fight-and there alot of awesome fight sequences in Max Con-Cross and Manning are backed up by their special forces of Bradley, Jones, and Davie...( with kick ass Bren Foster playing Bradley) .

Steph Song ( check her out in Dragon Boys along with Byron Mann)plays Samantha and Aliya O'Brien plays Charlotte who are revealed as the two prisoners hidden within the military 'black site' that Blake and his mercenaries are after. simple plot to support an good old-school action film..

The distributors control all photos of Steven in action but iam sure those will be released soon.. He has some cool hand to hand fight sequences in the film-along with some great shoot outs that he choreographed him self -so you guys should be getting some good Seagal stuff soon..

As for the trailer, we wont finish shooting for another week so probaly not till the first of the year, sorry about that..

Oh thats ok ..if any one should get the thanks is those 'fine gentlemen' whom took time out getting back to us with all this info ..and thanks to Steven ..he has changed his name but thats Steven i got thinking about that today and thought yep its sounds alot better then his first choice

Today.....several scenes of dialogue, and a fight to shoot on Max Con....close quarters,trapping fight....my favorite!

I get to win this fight.....FINALLY!! Only....alas, I get shot, and possibly stabbed at the end.

So far, so much fun on my last day of #MaximumConviction!!! This dialogue is more fun than sliced bread, or a sack of hammers, or something.

Oh & steve austin Also has a stunt double in the movie as well so we should stop complaining about seagal having one because austin has one to.

Almost every actor who has dangerous scenes to film, has a stuntdouble.

I think what some of us was irritated about was that he has used his stuntdouble for fightscenes in previous movies, and he should be able to do fightscenes on his own. Besides that I dont think anybody has a problem with him using stuntdoubles in the the actual *stuntscenes.*

Do you think this movie will go to theaters? I mean no one knows the budget of the film do u think it could be possibly around 20 million or something i mean it does have a pretty good cast Steven Seagal, Steve Austin Bren Foster & Michael Pare van dammes movie went to theaters why shouldnt this one?

Currently, it says that Voltage Pictures has the worldwide theatrical rights, but to be honest, I don't think that it will happen. However, there is probably a decent chance that Maximum Conviction will receive a limited US release. Remember that some of the recent Van Damme and Lundgren films have got a similar opportunity in the USA as well. I guess that this time the budget might be like 15 million USD and they will release it theatrically in Japan, Russia, and some other Asian countries, where Seagal films are still worth a theatrical release. Pistol Whipped and Urban Justice earned some money there so why not to try it again, if the movie is good...:)
