I would (as said before) tread him like I tread everybody else. Ofcouse I would ask him about his upcoming movies,it would be stupid not to if you had the chance.
I would ask him about US3 & if there would ever be any sequels to his old movies (which I highly doubt).
Alas, Mason... I have been told that the one subject he will NOT talk about and is guaranteed to annoy him if asked about by someone who is obviously a "fan" is his movies.
I'm of two minds whether or not I would like to meet him, myself. It's mostly because I have met a lot of celebrities (though not all in this part of the entertainment business) and I end up wishing I hadn't met them. Who can live up to the person we all imagine him to be? Actually meeting someone we see on the telly or on screen tends to disappoint rather than delight, oftentimes through no fault of their own - it's simply the image built up from what we see on the screen or hear about them on the news. The real thing tends not to fulfill our expectations.
The trick is, of course, not to have expectations.
I'm doomed, anyhow; it wouldn't take a rocket scientist to figure out, once I introduced myself, who I am from my handle here on the site, and his "people" do scour the site regularly, and I expect I, among a few others, are on the "eject immediately from Himself's presence if encountered" list.
One day, when I had nothing to do (it seems so long ago), I went onto the eonline.com site. A little digging will lead you to the "celebrity sightings" list. It's an interesting read - ordinary folks posting their celebrity encounters. I haven't been on there lately, but there was a "Steven sighting" a long time ago - someone spotted him having dinner, I think it was sometime in 2001. They didn't dare approach, though. Anyway, a lot of the same celebrities get spotted frequently, and after a while, you get a sense of what these celebrities are like when encountered by fans. The Olsson twins, for example - each encounter with them was universally bad. They were rude and snotty and altogether unpleasant. Mike Myers, on the other hand, was generally very nice (with only one complaint of inappropriate behavour) and several other celebrities were also behaved with grace when in a fan encounter.
