Success...

"Success"

To laugh often and much, to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children;

to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends;

to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others;

to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition;

to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived.

That is to have succeeded.

Ralph Waldo Emerson

Hi All!

I believe that Experience Plus the Wisdom shared by those with YEARS of Experiences, wither in a book or in person, help us to learn & grow....But it is true, we learn best within our own experiences.....

Good one Myst. I Have "The Journals of Ralph Waldo Emerson" Abridged & Edited, with an introduction by Robert N. Linscott- published by The Modern Library (Random House) of New York - published in 1960. I also have Into The Deep Forest With Henry David Thoreau, by Jim Murphy & Illustrated by Kate Kiesler, published by Clarion Books (a Houghton Mifflin Company), Published in 1995. I am guessing you love to read a lot, too, in addition to writing/being a writer.

Love Your Sister,
Eagle/Stacey

Music

There's music in the sighing of a reed; There's music in the
gushing of a rill; There's music in all things, if men had ears:
Their earth is but an echo of the spheres

I remember the first line of that one from my school days, I never knew there was a second line to it. I live and learn. :)
