Have we met? Don't think so...allow me to...
I'm Jalu...
Isn't it nice to be able to "think" and freely express one's thoughts?
That's just what we have all done here...
So...you two have concurred that my post is untrue, and that I am influenced by the media.
How do reach such conclusion if you don't even know me (or of me)?
Let's explore that together.
The topic is: Does Steven ever read what we say on this site?
Let's break that down to avoid further slips in the thinking process.
Q: Does Steven ever read what we say on this site?
A: He's oblivious to anything but himself.
If a question is asked...it obviously seeks an answer. This answer of course will be relative. True for me...untrue for you. Why? Because we have different reference points. Now...don't take it so serious it's only an opinion...and we know what is said about those.
Tigerfeet, I'm well aware of his philantropic work.
Has it occurred to you that people with money use philantropy as an investment in themselves. Having studied Philantropy and been involved in Non-for-profit management I'm well aware of how things work. Not only is good for the image...and a tax deduction...in some cases it can be used for money laundering, to pay for services that cannot be disclosed, if one has transportation available (as he does) it can be used for moving certain goods unnoticed, etc, etc... Now, don't kill the messenger. I am not saying that this is what he does. It's just a possibility for anyone (generally speaking).
I don't doubt that he has a good side like all of us, but he is not perfect. And...he is a better business man than anything else. So...I believe money comes first for him.
As for what the media says: who cares?
If you (and Halkush) knew me...you'd know that I don't watch tv, read newspapers, and such. So, there is no way that my opinion is based on such. I never mentioned the media in my post, so I wonder where you got that from?
Needless to say all the gossip about him that I have heard/read...has come from this site. Not directly from the media.
And, Halkush...I am not passing judgement on the man or anyone.
My opinion of SS comes from having friends in common, yet it is not a concrete one. I always give the benefit of the doubt.
You are free to think (speak/write), so am I. Isn't it nice?
Peace

Jalu, I think that is untrue. His philanthropic work shows that.
The way he is portrayed in the media does not necessarily reflect who he really is.

I also think it is untrue.
to be a celebrity one has to sometimes ignor the media/press, to detach, otherwise you'd go mad at all the questions / criticisms thrown at yu.
How can you live with peace of mind?
How many other celbrities appear detached/disassociated and annoyed with the press in public?
Judge the man by his works, nothow he reacts to the press.
