Well, the question is whether Seagal's significant other would watch his films with him. Would it matter? It is how people complement eachother that make them work, not that they are exactly alike. I will share a funny quote from Seagal himself which might shed a little light on your question. He said, "I don't think I will ever get married again. I will just find a woman I don't like and buy her a house." However, not only has my wife been very understanding of my being a fan of Seagal. She has very graciously watched many, if not all, of his films with me, and get this, even attended his concert at the Fillmore West with me. I have been very appeciative of this since it is not something she would do if it were not for myself. So, yes, one must not give up Seagal within an understanding relationship, even if the other party doesn't much care for it.
