I think that an actor is less close of his fans than a singer, that's why I think that Steven will certainly change his mind when he will sing more and will see us. 
He can be sure that his loyal fans will be in the public, that means that he will see that we exist and follow his career as singer and as actor. 
He certainly think that he doesn't need fans as actor, but he needs us as singer. Without his loyal fans he would have no success in his music - or maybe with new fans who prefer music than movies.
