The big-screen scene !!

Dear TD,

I found this article:

-------------------------------------------

NortWest Herald
Thursday, December 30, 2004

Steven Seagal goes before the cameras next month to make "Black Dawn."

He's playing a former CIA operative who has been framed for killing so many fellow agents, he's become the object of a shoot-on-sight directive. And as if that weren't enough to keep him busy, he's happened onto a deal between Colombian arms dealers and Middle Eastern terrorists who want plutonium for a suitcase bomb to blow L.A. to smithereens.

----------------------------------------

for your information my Dear friend

A Happy New Year

sincerely

suzi

Hey, there, suzi, my Super Spy friend... this is getting confusing, now. Isn't he supposed to be filming "Today You Die" at the moment (which, apparently, he isn't), and Mercenary in March - maybe this has been renamed to "Black Dawn"? Is the publication a reliable one for real information or is somebody just playing silly buggers (I confess the plot sounds remarkably silly, as if someone had made it up to make fun of Steven).

Maybe i will ask here too TD do you know or can you find out when "into the sun" is coming to Australia?...thanks..

That's a good question, and our other Aussie member hasn't been seen on the board lately, and he was the one who provided the info the last time... let me scan upstream and I will see if there is a link.

...

There is a link to an on-line purchase site, but alas, Into the Sun isn't listed at all. Here's the link:

http://www.ezydvd.com.au/mech/search.zml

However, if "Out of Reach" is an indicator, "Into the Sun" should be released in Australia about 2 months after the US release. So, figuring February 15 for the US release date, the Australian release date should be around April 15th.

I guess the Aussie dvd order site is a place to watch for you folks down under.

Hi, Raf. Not sure what you mean that you "have a problem". Are you able to purchase it from someplace like Amazon. com and have it delivered to your home? It's available there. If you're able to order through the United Kingdom division of Amazon.com, perhaps you could order through the link from this website, as it does benefit the site. Here's the link below--just click the button "Buy from Amazon.co.uk". However, I see it's only available in Region 1 DVD, and it says this for Region 1:

"Region 1 encoding (requires a North American or multi-region DVD player and NTSC compatible TV". I don't know if you have the multi-region DVD player. If you do and wish to order it through this website, here's the link. Good luck. :)

Here are a couple of links for ordering European Region 2 from a website in the U.K., if that's what you need. I'll try to add a few more as I find them. :)

After talking with a few Aussie DVD places, it seems Into the Sun hasn't got an Australian release date yet. I suspect, like TD pointed out, it will be released in mid to late April 2005.
