About:Rush Hour-3
According to Variety, Chris Tucker just rejected the script penned by Jeff Nathanson, who also wrote the second Rush Hour. Jackie Chan has already said he did not like the series but he would do it again for his fans. If both leads are not happy about the project, just let it end now.

Good for him! It's great to see him receive an honor like this. He does always appear to be a very humble person, and I've read that he's very generous and giving, and a joy to work with. I hadn't read this in the news yet, so thanks for posting, Suzi!suziwong said:Jackie Chan Receives the Grand Medal of Vermeil from the City of Paris - 28 June, 2005

HONG KONG (AP) - Jackie Chan says the third installment of "Rush Hour'' is stuck in neutral because co-star Chris Tucker is making too many demands.
"He wants too much power. The movie company hasn't obliged. He wants final editing rights and the final look at the movie and so on,'' Chan told The Associated Press Thursday.
Chan called Tucker a "good friend'' but questioned whether he had the stature to be so demanding.
"He's still a new actor,'' Chan, 51, said. "How many movies has he made? Two movies have already made him very famous and made him a lot of money.''
"He needs to learn slowly,'' he added.
A call by The Associated Press to Tucker's publicist, Samantha Mast, wasn't returned Friday.
While "Rush Hour 3'' remains in limbo, Chan said he's going ahead with another project - one with famed Chinese director Zhang Yimou. Zhang's recent films include "House of Flying Daggers'' and "Hero.''
Chan declined to reveal details of the movie, saying only that it would be "galvanizing'' and is set in the 1980s. He said the idea is his, but Zhang will work on the script.
"He relies on imagination ... like an arrow flying through water,'' said Chan. "He has elevated the martial arts genre. I believe he can make any type of movie now.''
- Source Hong Kong Entertainment News. While reviews for Jackie Chan's THE MYTH have been mixed leaning towards negative, box office returns have been nothing but positive. After three days in theatres, the blockbuster has pulled in HK$6.23 million -- the second biggest opening for a HK film in 2005 (behind INITIAL D which made HK$11.14 million in its initial three days). In fact, THE MYTH outperformed the opening of Chan's last HK film NEW POLICE STORY. Almost exactly one year ago, the latest chapter in Chan's POLICE STORY saga had a HK$5.77 million three-day opening. The question now will be if THE MYTH can sustain its box office momentum against mixed reviews and competition from Andy Lau's WAIT 'TIL WE'RE OLDER and Sammi Cheng's EVERLASTING REGRET. Stay tuned.
I know it doesn't make sense. I think there are many more people in the world who watch the movie because it is a Jackie Chan film, not because Chris Tucker is in it.DrunkenMonkeyKungFu said:I'm a little annoyed that Chris Tucker will be receiving a higher paycheck then Jackie, I hope Chris' character gets slapped around a lot in this one.
