Less than a month, better get planning those assignments. No be like the students and leave it until the night before term starts. I couldn't stand the stress of doing that, far better to get it out the way then forget about it.

Would the Sunday afternoon be your afternoon / my evening or my afternoon and your morning? Time zones are complicating life My parents are visiting this weekend but they will most probably be off home at tea time so I might be here this Sunday evening (my evening) if you are. We could see if we make it or if other things come up I'll see you here another Sunday, or in the week, or any random time we coincide, but we will catch up soon.

Things in the UK are wet. This summer is full of gentle rain showers and I don't mind at all, the garden is growing nicely.
I miss catching up with you too, I haven't been online much this week as I'm trying to cut down and get on with a few other things - I need like the nicotine patches for internet usage!
Glad to hear that you've kept out the way of the rock throwers and enjoying some time to enjoy life.
When does fall term start? It seems way to early to even think about that yet.
Will have to synchronise times and meet up here soon.

Hi Michelle,

All went well Sat. It is great to be asked to do something I wanted to do 33 years ago. I was asked to do this I think the Universe decided it was time to help me do this since I had.nt done it on my own.

I was shown the studio. The station is in with eight other radio stations so it was a big place with many personalities from other stations there. The parking lot was full of station cars and vans. Very exciting day even if nothing comes from it. I was shown to a studio and made a recording that I was able to edit and my friend will put in music and submit it to the station for consideration.

I will let you know if anything comes of this. I was a little nervous about the new technology but found it was actually eaiser. The station has the latest equipment that makes the job a breeze. Much easier than in the 70's. It was great she presented me to other radio personalities as an Old School Boston, Mass radio guy. It was a great day.
