My cousin & Donna was there at his home at the same time, and they weren't "in" the house,only around the track in the yard. And to my understanding Seagal came & left in a vehicle while the people were there.

Hi Lotussan.
When I was at his house for the black belt testing, Seagal showed that he was very unhappy(even angry) at having to be at the testing. Maybe, he was just having a bad day. After the testing, he did stay just long enough to pose for a group picture with all of us(we never got a copy of this though). He did leave right after that, so we weren't given a chance to actually talk to him. His security people hung around until the last one of us had gotten back in our vehicles, and left with the group.
When Seagal first announced the creation of his website on tv, he was extremely proud of it. He wanted people to come visit it, he and his people had all kinds of things planned for it. Talking to the ones running the website(Wass, Scott, and Jaime), there were plans for a line of clothes by Seagal for us fans as well as other items. The last time I talked to Jaime(which has been quite a while), he told me that we fans were going to just love all the new updates to the website that were being done. He never would say though, what these updates were. What I want to know, is what happened to the website and all the supposed plans for it by Seagal and his people??? What changed from when the message board got shut down, to when the website got shut down??? Did Seagal suddenly just get tired of us and it(his website), like when the newness wears off a kid's toy and the child quits playing with it and tosses it aside for another??? I do truly respect Seagal contrary to what you might think, and I really would love it if he did visit Craig's website here. I would love the chance to ask him all of my above questions, and MAYBE finally get some straight answers out of him for all of us fans!!! That is, if he would talk to us.

It's a complicated matter, when I visited Suzi and her husband in Turkey, we talked about the chance of him visiting the web site, well, it's very easy, all you can do is have a computer with internet access, and type www.google.com and then Steven Seagal, and there you are..... I doubt he hasn't done that at least once !!!!! But we will never know if he visits, if he is even registered under some member name, or if he hasn't visited at all.... who can assure me ???? I bet Mr. Seagal has internet access...alright, he travels a lot but who knows what he does in the spare time ???
Anyway, Craig deserves all the credits, for having the site and all the great stuff !!!!
As Seagal being one of the members, who knows for sure ?? I'm sure it's not me, or TD or Justice or Craig, all of us have posted pics here, and I'm sure it's not Suzi... By the way Suzi, thank you a loooooottttt for the VCD !!!!!!!!!!!! I loved the movie !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know if he visits the site or not. I am thinking if he's still making movies it is in his best interest to know what his fans think. Specially his loyal fans. I think the shutting down of his site might have something to do with his recent difficulties.

I have to say that I am constantly amazed at the excuses people make for Steven's rotten behaviour, no matter how high the evidence piles up that Steven is not a nice person in real life (even that reported by people here who have actually met him). There are some who continue to steadfastly refuse to accept it, and who then proceed to rationalise the bad behaviour away because it's too, I don't know, painful to accept the truth.

All I can say is that if bad behaviour can be excused away by "having a bad day," then there are an awful lot of bad days in Steven's life - at least 365 of them in a year (366 in leap years).

Donna's point about his lack of interest in his own official website is a good one, about it being a toy he only played with for a short time. The same thing can be said of his music CD. Where the hell is that? He worked on it for a little while, then he lost interest in it, and now we'll never see that, either. He doesn't contribute to writing his films any more - I guess he lost interest in that; he doesn't even write tunes for his movies any more. Definitely lost interest in that. He spends a lot of time /y/e/l/l/i/n/g/ /a/t talking to people on his cell phone (lots of documented evidence of that) because he's so damned important, but he's got no time for his fans - because he's too damned important.

The rotten public reputation that he's got is not something made out of smoke and mirrors. There is not, as some insist, a world-wide conspiracy to portray him in the worst possible light just because he's "Steven Seagal" (I'm not talking about the wisecracks about his weight, I'm talking about his behaviour in public that gets reported on by people with no axe to grind). He brings it on himself, and if anyone does report his questionable behaviour, he then sics his pitbull lawyer on them to shut them up, which is easier than changing his own behaviour (to quote his own words, he thinks one should go through life in the easiest possible way, as long one doesn't hurt anyone - pity he forgot about the second half of that statement).

I wish that he was a nicer person; I wish that the reports of him behaving badly really were a conspiracy to blacken his reputation. I also wish that he was as honourable as the characters that he portrays on the screen, and that he did have a spark of genuine human compassion in him, that he wasn't selfish and stuck-up and so full of self-importance and self-aggrandizement that he considers himself a legend in his own mind.

Alas, it is not so.

It's a pity that he doesn't practice what he preaches: "Don't be a bad guy... be a nice guy."
