Steven Seagal is Submerged Source: Emmett/Furla Films Wednesday, January 14, 2004

Emmett/Furla Films Productions Corporation has announced that it has completed negotiations with international action star Steven Seagal to top-line an additional picture which is slated to begin principal photography on April 1st.

Anthony Hickox will direct Submerged, which Emmett/Furla Films' Randall Emmett and George Furla will produce with Paul de Souza. Colin Green wrote the screenplay based on a story by himself and Paul de Souza.

Co-chairs Randall Emmett and George Furla stated: "We are happy to, once again, be working with Steven Seagal. He has always delivered solid, exciting performances for us and we believe coupling him with 'Submerged' will make for an action-packed film that will hopefully appeal to a broad audience. This project is the perfect fit for Family Room Entertainment."

Following Submerged, Emmett/Furla Films will produce a second picture with Steven Seagal entitled, Repentance.

April 1, thats my Birthday. I'm turning 26 :) :) But the best news is that www.comingsoon.net only puts up news about Theatrical released movies..never straight to dvd/video movies.

I think what Tora means to say is that if you can compete with the man in a equal way, then maybe you have room to dictate and complain about what he is doing, otherwise I suggest working on polishing yourself up before you sit there and bash him and call his efforts unimportant and inferior, and fyi, the humanitarian things he does are not crap...

There is an audience for the Nico Toscani-Seagal, People would love to see his real aikido-street style technique on the big screen. (When he first broke through yeah he had some talented directors but people went to a steven seagal movie to see him fight because it was like nothing theyve ever seen before he needs to start using his aikido) I've been sayin it since day one, Kids today don't even know what a good action flick is they were brought up on all this stupid wire romeo must die bs, if someone pushed the envelope and created adult action movies again they'd have an audience, alot of people wanna see someone they can relate with not the italian born now buddhist guy that kills people but wants to save the environment with a big speech... I love Seagal I think he is the man but he lost track of what made him the number 1 star in the world...I've been sayin this since day one and I'll be sayin it until it Im not on here anymore. Like the main bad guy in above the law said....You gotta take some time to smell the roses, I hope Steven does...(In short the more old school steven seagal is the better the movie and the better the movie= $ = more good flicks..really easy isnt it?)

Ps: if your gonna respond with the usual I love the guy for everything he is, he is sexy hott, a humanitarian, just save it Im not talking about any of that.

I hoped HPD would relaunch him as it had the youth edge with the rappers again but whereas EW was a success,this bombed. The fact EW was a much better film might have had a hand. This must have had a factor in his "exile" in Europe recently. I would rather see him doing his Aikido the way you said rather than all this wires stuff which doesn't suit a big man anyway. To make it back big in Hollywood would be an almost miraculous achievement seeing as how every film critic in town is throwing darts at his image,but you live in hope.You wanted to talk Seagal right?

Keep the faith mate. As long as he's making them we'll snap 'em up.The classics are on celluloid always and nobody can ever take them away from him. It shows how the business has changed that Keanu Reeves can be made to look good with all the tricks nowadays.You must get fed up saying you'd wish he'd return to Out For Justice brutal days but i'd love to see a film like that,just once before he retires.

Yeah it makes me sad because I was to young to enjoy Steven in his prime, thats what makes me really want him to make his old style movies again...But in a interview i saw on here with the Exit Wounds Seagal vs the Hard To Kill Seagal, and I beg to differ with Mr. Seagal is all his bad ass-ness lol I have to say Mason Storm would make Orin Boyd his ...... Seagal said Exit wounds is better action...mannnn....I always have my hopes up but im afraid ill just have to keep on watching marked for death on my 50 inch tv and just think how it would be like to have watched all those bad ass flicks in the theatres=/

I have them all on DVD, but no time to watch, as it is I am submerged in Seagal and my folks think I am a bit odd, but hey just love that guy too much, I can't help that he knocks my socks off...
It seems so slow here, what a pity, guess we scared all the men away with our posts, but they gotta learn to live and let live...
I guess we'll just have to get serious about posting, then, Steven needs us!
And even If it becomes an all chick site, maybe he'd like that, he's quite the man, hehehe...;)

Storm,you can get a 50"tv pretty cheap these days.I would def. recommend a big tv to watch the big guy on!
