Steven Seagal is Submerged Source: Emmett/Furla Films Wednesday, January 14, 2004

Emmett/Furla Films Productions Corporation has announced that it has completed negotiations with international action star Steven Seagal to top-line an additional picture which is slated to begin principal photography on April 1st.

Anthony Hickox will direct Submerged, which Emmett/Furla Films' Randall Emmett and George Furla will produce with Paul de Souza. Colin Green wrote the screenplay based on a story by himself and Paul de Souza.

Co-chairs Randall Emmett and George Furla stated: "We are happy to, once again, be working with Steven Seagal. He has always delivered solid, exciting performances for us and we believe coupling him with 'Submerged' will make for an action-packed film that will hopefully appeal to a broad audience. This project is the perfect fit for Family Room Entertainment."

Following Submerged, Emmett/Furla Films will produce a second picture with Steven Seagal entitled, Repentance.

April 1, thats my Birthday. I'm turning 26 :) :) But the best news is that www.comingsoon.net only puts up news about Theatrical released movies..never straight to dvd/video movies.

But It isn't healthy to get blitzed all the time, so I'd worry...
But he's a buddhist so I'd really be quite surprised, hmmmm...

No i dont know if he drinks girl..if he does iam sure he doesnt go over board, i hope anyway..I should explain what my saying "flat out like a lizard drinking" means..It means that he is so busy..ok.Heather.

Oh, I haven't heard that one, and I've watched Aussie programmes fairly regularly over the past few years.

Just to let everyone know unless Steven Seagal gets back together with Andrew Davis or Julius R. Nasso which we all know will not happen with Nasso, but possibly with Davis, Steve will not have another blockbuster hit to the BigScreen, yes Steve still has tallent and capable of producing quality movies, but look at Steve's Movie history which shows Nasso/Davis productions as his best movies...so I do not see the new movies any better than belly of the beast...and strait to video/dvd will not surprise me.

My name is Andrew, all I can tell you is that everyone and there mother wants to make a movie with Steven Seagal, but I am talking about quality here, everything is timing, If Steve and Davis got back together to make another movie, I guarantee it would gross multimillions and skyrocket steve back into the publics eye, at this point my opinion is steve has more important spiritual things to do besides hit the limelight again in hollywood which Steve admits in interviews hollywood does not bring Steve peace due to the dishonesty he is faced with...

Yeah and speaking of Steven's desires he said he wanted to do a different kind of movies and someday leave Hollywood at all.

I heard him say before in an interview
that it's a very dirty business...
I would really miss seeing the movies,
but maybe he'd hide-a-way with me,
and in that case who needs the movies...:D

So the title of the thread says SUBMERGED will be coming to theaters. Is it? Into The Sun is supposed to but what about SUBMERGED??
