Stallone Detained at Sydney Airport
Feb 17, 2:11 AM EST

Sylvester Stallone was detained for hours on arrival at Sydney Airport after officials found prohibited imports in his luggage and that of his entourage, media reported Saturday.

Australian Customs Service national investigations manager Richard Janeczko did not say what the items were or whose luggage among Stallone's party they were found in during a routine screening late Friday.

"As a result of having their luggage x-rayed, a number of prohibited items were seized by Customs," Janeczko told Ten Network television news. "Mr. Stallone was allowed to continue with his party and our investigations are continuing." He gave no other details.

Stallone emerged from the airport hours after his fellow passengers and signed autographs for fans, Ten reported. He declined to comment on the incident.

Stallone is in Australia to promote his movies "Rocky Balboa."

It's probably be blown out of proportion. Maybe he had too much Australian Kangaroo Paw Flower shampoo in his luggage. :D

You know what airlines are like with liquids these days also - it's probably something as simple as that. British Airways don't let you fly if you are trying to take something ridiculous like 200ml of liquid onto an aircraft, and that even includes sh*t like shaving foam!

Doesn't matter much as to what the so-called critics think or print.
The fact is, it seems to be making money hand over fist. First rule....
follow da' money!!! As long as the movie is grossing the big bucks,
no one is going to pay much attention to the blabber mouths!! ;)

Lots of things that are fairly innocuous over in North America can come under the heading of "banned" when entering other countries. You can't, for example, bring food from other countries into North America. And what may be passed by the various North American food and drug agencies as acceptable here, may contain ingredients that are banned elsewhere. As ever, I think the media got hold of something and blew it way out of proportion, for all the usual reasons (why print the boring, prosaic truth when making something sensational out of it will guarantee to sell papers?).

I mean, even people travelling with prescription drugs have to have paperwork up to here to avoid having their medications seized by Customs as "banned substances".

Hello TD. Long time eh? What are you up to these days?

I saw the Rocky 6 film last night. I have the other 5,and this one is low on the list! The sentimentality is good, but the film itself is pretty crap! I was hoping for a real good one too. That fight has every cliche' in the book and then some! Time to hang 'em up Rock!
Ps. Hi G-Man. How are you?

Hey big boy. Going good, thanks. You? How's Yorkshire these days? Probably much the same as it is here (ie - rainy). It's as if this city has been slapped in the face with a coat of grey poison.

Cooks - good to see you too! :D

Thanks for starting this thread Casey. The film was below my expectations, bur sentimental and in that respect, entertaining.

Good to see you and Cookie. I'm fine thanks. Lonewolf wanted to contact you. You know yes? I remember years ago when we all alllmost met up for a Seagal fans night out. It was meant to be in Nottingham, where women outnumber men,if i remember right. That would have suited live with mommy Leon!
Wonder whatever happened to Isa eh? Probably sectioned. Heh.Yorkshire is still the capital of England if you believe all the sheep s******s!.

Cookie, thanks for asking after me. I still say you look like my older sister!

Growth Hormone pills sound worse then they are...A number of studies have suggested that they are the closest thing to the magic fountain of youth but in pill form.

I thought Rocky Balboa was great in every way, it was such a great finishing to one of my favorite movies of all time. If Stallone was born to play a certain role than the one of a lowly underdog boxer is definitely the one.

The scenes were pretty emotional as well, alot of human issues and not over the top crazyiness. Great ending fight as well.
