When Would You Tell a Lie?

This is old, but I was not here!

When needed! To cover my a**!! :D

And someone told me years ago if someone were to ask you something that they knew was none of there business you have no obligation to tell the truth! (I know the Ten Commandments and if lying is the only one I break, I think I will be doing good)!
I think it was Dear Abby in the news paper! :D

I am finding this old stuff by clicking on Who's on Line and it tells where the guest are, so I go take a look! You people got right rowdy at times!
 :D Hate I missed it! :D

Sorry this is a sleepy, sugar high, old woman who needs to go back to bed!

If my life or my family's, or friends life was on the line, then I would tell a lie.

Likewise...though I don't think I could lie to save my own skin...that would feel like cheating to me. Of course though as Jules said, there is always skirting the truth....not really lying, just not revealing all!!

I do my best to be honest with people, and at times have taken flack for it. I just can't bring myself to lie....I've tried before and am horrible at it....I always wind up feeling so bad that I tell the truth anyway...lol.

I couldn't bluff my way out of a paper bag...so I guess poker is out!

Ye I would never lie as well, but if I had to lie to save my family I would do so. ;)

I worked for a company that was going to go public, so we had to lie on our financial statement direct orders from the owner! Would you have done that? If it meant feeding your children?

I worked for a service company that was a subsidiary of Montgomery Wards dealing with all of their credit accounts. We knew about the bankruptcy 5 years before the official declairation. We were bonded not to say ANYTHING public about it whatsoever...not even to MW employees. I did it, because the money was very very good...but when I saw how they eventually wound up handling the going public, boy did I feel like a putz.

Keeping food on the table is a neccessary thing, you do what you have to do.
