Right now, I am sitting here watching a downpour of biblical proportions take place, along with the usual sound effects. At last. This heat and humidity has just about done me in.

Some small good news - a little spurt of work has come my way, so I've been busy for two days, and fingers crossed the job that got postponed from last week comes my way this week. I guess I won't be checking out the real estate with cardboard box (optional) under the Gardiner Expressway just yet.... And I might be getting the cheque that my client has been withholding since March 31st soon, too (too long of a story to go into why they've been withholding it).

In other news, it's going to cost $145 to get my TV fixed. Apparently, the model I have has a problem with its power supply - it blows out, usually one day after the warranty expires. Now, how do their engineers get the timing so precise, I'd like to know?

It might, at that. Only all the ones I could find for that price are dinky little ones, and it hurts to squint for an hour!

Or I can cook, something! :cook: At one time I was pretty handy in the kitchen!
